How To Return Online

This link is located in the top right corner of every page of sierrasnowboard.com and sierraskis.com
Go to Order Tracking & Returns or log into your account. If you are already logged in then go to My Account

  1. Online Returns Link

Once you get yourself logged in click on the Online Returns tab at the top of the page.

  1. Choose the order to return

The next step is to choose the order in which the item you are returning is in. The top section will show you which orders are still within the time limit to return. If your return may be questionable for any reason, please refer to our Online Return Policy. Once you have selected which order to return, you will automatically be taken to the next step.

  1. Select which item you would like to return

This page will allow you to select which items in this order will be returned. Select your individual items or select return entire order. Once you have selected your item, or items, click the button that says “Create Return”. This will automatically take you to the next step.

*Note: Only select return entire order if you are sure you will be shipping everything back. If you select this option and only ship back a partial order, you will over pay for shipping!

  1. Confirm your return order and select the reason that you are returning the item

This page will show you one item at a time. In this section you will select the reason you are returning your item. Once you have selected your reason for returning, you can leave us any comment you would like. Feel free to tell us anything pertaining to the return or maybe if you feel like it; send us something that will make us laugh. (You never know, it may increase the rate at which it is processed!)

  1. Select shipping method

Your next step is on the same page as the last step. Now you will select your shipping method. The dropdown menu will show you your options. You can either choose to use our discounted shipping rates* or ship using your own method.

Discounted shipping rates: is not a flat rate of discount, some items have more than others. It is true that sometimes (very rarely on larger items) our discounted rate may be more expensive than other shipping methods. We have included links to other shipping services on this page.

  1. Review your refund amounts

Before you go on to the next step, please carefully review all of the information on this page.

  1. Click create return order button
  1. Ship your item
    1. First you will print your packing slip. The packing slip will need to be shipped inside the packaging along with your return
    2. Step two is to print your shipping label. Please attach the shipping label to the outside of the shipping box in an appropriate area. If you chose to ship via your own method, you will skip to step 3.
    3. Step three is to ship your item. When you use our discounted shipping, you can drop off your packages at any FedEx Center.

If you would like to return multiple items, simply repeat these steps!

FAQ

When can I expect my refund?
You will receive your refund approximately 3-5 business days after we have received your return. There are some cases where the processing may take longer than the expected time period.

How can I speed up the return process?
There are a few ways you can speed up the process.

  • Upgrade your shipping method
  • Drop off at the Sacramento Store location
  • Request your refund to be in the form of store credit (eliminates limbo time between us and your bank)
  • Going snowboarding will dramatically increase the perceived amount of time in comparison to the relative time frame of the waiting period.

I don’t have a printer, how can I get my shipping label?

As soon as your return is processed you will be automatically emailed the links to reprint your packing slip and shipping label. Use these links to print from another location. You can also reprint these items through your “My Account” page on your Sierra account.


Return Policy

Time Period:
All items are returnable if received within 30 days of the purchase date.

Items that are not returnable:

  • Used Product
  • Items not in a new condition
  • Items not shipped with original packaging
  • Manufacturer packaging used as shipping box
  • Items received beyond 30 day period
  • Gift certificates / store credits

Product Condition:
All returned product has to be in a new unused condition in its original packaging. The only exception is items that are damaged in shipping.

Damaged in Shipping:
If you receive a product that has previously been damaged in shipping, sign for the package and not above your signature the word “damaged” or “open” and request that the delivery company inspect the package. If you found the damage after the delivery please send an email to help@sierrasnowboard.com Attn: Shipping Claim. In this email please include your order number (found on packing slip) and the name of the carrier that delivered the package. You will need to keep the packaging until it is inspected by the carrier. Do not return the merchandise yourself, we will process the claim for you and talk you through the process step by step.

If an item is damaged in shipping please contact us as soon as possible. Items that qualify for damaged shipping claims will replaced or refunded as soon as possible. The decision to refund or replace is based on customer service management in each situation and is not guaranteed.

Manufacturer defect
We honor all manufacturers warranty’s. Please review the manufacturers terms and conditions before attempting to return to sierrasnowboard.com. Manufacturers warranty’s typically don’t cover normal wear and tear, impact damage or damage from negligent use.

Exchanges
To do an exchange, simply complete the online return process through your My Account page and create a new order for the item you would rather have.

Refunds
Full Refunds will be given when the return follows all criteria as stated in our return policy.

Form of Refund
- Refunds will be given in the form the item was originally purchased.
- If the original card is not available, the refund will be given as a store credit to the member account that purchased the item.
- If the original purchase was made with a gift certificate, refund will be given in the form of store credit.
- In the case that the original purchase was made with a combination of payment methods the refund will be distributed accordingly between those methods.

In Store Returns
To return an item purchased online in our store, simply bring the product you would like to return to our retail location in Sacramento, CA. Please bring along your order information such as your packing slip or conformation email. You can also go through our online return process and drop it off at the Sacramento store to speed up your return process.

Items purchased in the Sacramento store can only be returned at the Sacramento store. The Sacramento stores return policy is slightly different from the online return policy. The time period to return in the store is 15 days from the date of purchase. The time period for an even exchange is 30 days from the original purchase. With the exception of the time periods, all other aspects of the above return policy apply to in store returns. 

Shipping Costs
For all returns they buyer will pay the shipping cost to return the items. If our online return process is used to process your return we will give you a discounted shipping rate or if you find a cheaper rate you can select the ship it yourself option.

If the return is verified as our mistake (ie shipped wrong item, mismatched boots, etc.), your return shipping costs will be added to your refund. If you have further questions please contact our customer service help line or email help@sierrasnowboard.com.
