Burton Custom X ICS 159W
Terrain Use: Speed, Powder, Carving, Backcountry, Groomers, All Mountain
Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Popular on mountain, Well known brand
Other Thoughts: Speed, speed, speed!! This thing is fast! Not so fast on slow wet snow or small inclines but ANY other surface and decent inclines and this thing takes off like a rocket with extreme control and stability. The edges are unreal. They will cut into anything. In fact its actually hard to catch an edge because it rips right through anything, from powder to ice. Dont run your friend over or they might loose a digit. Control is unimaginable until you ride it. As for a railroad, either your board is to big or learn to ride the bumps. I took this thing to the top of Park City 5 days in a row with a busted ankle and semi icy moguls. Was still the first one down every time with only one working foot. Jumping and Parks were not doable with stupid ankle (see pic) but flex/stiffness is a pro in all other ridding conditions. Side note, this thing flat rides awsome. Where other boards chatter or have to be ridden on an edge the Custom rides flat and stable allowing for more comfort and speed. I cant wait until next season when I can take this God out with two working feet. If you're thinking about buying this board stop thinking and go get your wallet NOW before its gone! One run on the Burton Bullet with Burton bindings and my ankle couldn't handle it. Back to the Custom and everything was fine.

You can use other bindings as the board comes with an adapter, but why would you put regular crappy tires on a Ferrari?
