Burton Superpipe Glove
Burton Superpipe Glove
4/12/2009

Too Small
Pros: The glove did its job fine, and is fairly comfortable when you've got it on.
Cons: I can wear a Womens Large goretex glove just fine, but a Mens Large Superpipe glove is just too small. It's hard to get my wrist in and even harder getting it out. The liner also gets bunched up too easily, much like a cheap no-name glove.
Other Thoughts: Wouldn't recommend the glove. Might have to give a newer model a look to see if they fit better.

Burton Gore Tex Womens Glove
Burton Gore Tex Womens Glove

Goretex Womens, owned by proud Man
Pros: My hands didn't get wet during rain/sleet. These are probably best suited for trips where a pipe glove just isn't enough, but you don't need anything overkill.
Cons: The liner doesn't feel very nice on my hand because of its seams. It's also a tight fit getting my hand into the glove with the liner on - no way I'll ever use it.
Other Thoughts: The glove worked fine in slightly below freezing temperatures, but once it got to about -6C with high wind, my fingertips were quite cold.

686 Mannual Cranium Insulated
686 Mannual Cranium Insulated

Fashion Police: matches my setup
Chest: Feels true to size
Body: Feels true to length
Inseam: Feels true to length
Mannual Cranium Jacket
Terrain Use: All Mountain, All Mountain
Good For: Blue Bird Powder Day, Cloudy and Cold, Cold and Blustery Day
Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm
Other Thoughts: The jacket performed nicely for me in cold, windy weather, by Australian standards. Powder skirt is perfect. Plenty of pockets. My only complaint is about the hood, which seems to restrict my peripheral vision more so than other jackets. The inside of the hood (fleece material, maybe?) also seemed to attract ice which was hard to remove.
