Vans Encore
Vans Encore
2/16/2009

Graphics: sick
Fit: average
Width: average
Laces: boa
Easy Encore
Terrain Use: Half Pipe, Jumps, Boxes and Rails, Speed, Powder, Groomers, All Mountain
Pros: Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Good quality, Warm, Easy in & out, Well known brand
Other Thoughts: This boots are really comfortable, easy to get on, easy to adjust. The boa laces allows for quick tight adjustments on the go. These boots pack out a good amount so make sure you buy them snug otherwise you'll have some heel lift. If you tighten them a little too much you can feel some pressure points but it isn't too bad. Overall these boots are great for the price. If you're on a budget and have never tried boa laces before these are perfect to start you out.

Burton Twin Review
Terrain Use: Half Pipe, Jumps, Boxes and Rails, Groomers, All Mountain
Pros: Durable, lightweight, poppy, Soft
Cons: Top sheet scratches
Other Thoughts: Great board for the price, perfect for anyone who hits the park along with the occasional groomer. Smooth as butter on boxes and rails.

K2 Jibpan
K2 Jibpan
2/16/2009

Graphics: ok
Jibtastic
Terrain Use: Half Pipe, Jumps, Boxes and Rails, Speed, Carving, Groomers, All Mountain
Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Soft
Other Thoughts: Great all around board, this board gets awesome flex once you break it in. There are bubble bats on the top sheet which are kind of lame but other than that the graphic isn't over the top. The board slays just about any feature you can throw at it. Although its called the jibpan, I'd consider this more of an all mountain board than a park board. Also, the board is known to get stress cracks on the top sheet, but this hasn't happen to me yet. It's backed by K2's warranty so it's covered a year from purchase. So if you're looking for something that can kill kickers and slap against jibs, this board is perfect.
