Cheapo set up tech. but comfy.
Other Thoughts: Not as stiff as you would imagine or possibly not stiff enough. Got the TRIADs for a day and broke my right highback crack'n it straight down the middle. I wouldn't have noticed it until i felt the extra give off the landing from catch'n some decent air. I guess too much lean was put on these things. Another lame discovery was that the cap straps didn't fit well with my flow boots. Heck, it barely fit my burton boots. If you're just cruising on the mountain and have extra cash to burn then sure, buy these bindings. If not, there are lots of sick bindings you should be looking at that'll save you that extra $100 (union's, SPI's or movements, Flux super titans, sexy rome bindings).

Award Nominations: Best All Mountain, Best Powder Board, Best Freeride Board, Best Big Air Board, Best Graphic
WOW super light board!!!
Terrain Use: Jumps, Speed, Powder, Carving, Backcountry, Groomers, All Mountain
Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Stiff, Well known brand
Cons: Top sheet scratches
Other Thoughts: Lightest board ever! I mean ROME wasn't kidding. It's super light yet has enough stiffness to rip on the slopes at breakneck speeds. Super stable. If you're into flex, the nose and tail have some good flex but it's not that great of a jib stick. Stick to a ROME MOD if you want flexy or the ARTIFACT. For mountain only with little room for fun....this is your board. P.S. watch the board waist..it's a little slim for us big BOOTED folks.

08 vega is way better than the 09
Terrain Use: Half Pipe, Jumps, Boxes and Rails, Carving, Backcountry, Groomers, All Mountain
Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Soft, Well known brand
Cons: Top sheet scratches
Other Thoughts: Totally awesome board! My GF rides this and it saved her from bailing on boarding forever since she was a beginner. It's super forgiving, great to learn on and leaves lots of room for progression into anything, jibbing, buttering, rip'n the slopes...it's super flexy but still stable enough not to wobble at high speeds. My GF is now max'n out it's ability to pop. If you bump into one, pick it up. Possibly the only con: stay away from other boarders, a kid bumped into her and the laminate on her nose lifted a bit...but still an awesome board
