when you go into chat and type a question are you still signed in or are you a "guest". if you are a guest go ahead and sign in again. If not you should be good.

the chat can be buggy sometimes. if you show up as Guest, just log out, refresh and log back in and your username should show up in the chat. For the giveaway if it says you're logged in at the top bar then you should be fine.

For the forum page are you referring to the giveaway page or the forum homepage? We pull from the list of names from the bottom of the forum homepage here. You are automatically entered into the giveaway if you are logged in. You can see your name in upper right bar when logged in.

Same problem here. When I log in, my nick doesn't show up in the active members' list at the forum homepage. However I've found a work around. I open a second browser tab, browse to Sierra forum and voila! There's my nick. Also when I refresh the first tab after that my nick shows up. My browser is IE 8.0.

The list is updated every couple minutes, i want to say maybe ever 5 minutes or so. So if you login and immediately look for your name it's not likely to be there.
I would make sure you logon at least 5 minutes before the giveaway at 3pm (PST) to ensure you are in the drawing. We typically give it a few minutes after 3:00 before we pull the name list but, why risk it. |
