Thanks for the Big 12 cred Bruizza
. I think it's crazy how so many tradition-rich schools are having bad years. I do like watching the Boises, Cincis, and TCUs succeed, but I wish they played more bigtime games.

Iowa is probably the most overrated team in the land at the moment. They may be undefeated, but lets be honest, the real #4 should not be beating Arkansas St. and Northern Iowa by a combine like 4 points. Stanzi is very inconsistant, and I wouldn't be surprised if OSU completely raped them.

Iowa is the only team that scored over like 14 points on psu which btw has the #1 defense in the country.

#1 defense in the country...its not hard to hod teams to such little
offense when you play Akron, Syracuse, Temple, Eastern Illinois, and PA
school of the blind every week. That OCS is absolutely embarrassing.
Yea, Odrick, Lee, and Bowman are good, NFL bound players, but how about
we let the state penn defense play a respectable offense first. Iowa is
overrated right now, and so is the Big 10 as a whole.

If Florida and Bama go undefeated until they play each other, the winner will go to play Texas. Nobody in the Big 12 can beat them. <- it kills me to say that. There's only one way that Iowa ends up in the National Championship game; if one of the SEC teams lose and beat the other in the SEC championship. I don't see that happening.
Iowa really shouldn't have won Saturday. They had a video game-esque fourth quarter to beat Indiana. Stanzi was hitting the B button and turbo like crazy! |

your prediction is horribly unlikely. whichever team wins the SEC championship WILL go to the national championship, so Iowa will only get in if they somehow end up ahead of Texas in the polls. Oregon and PSU in the rose bowl is a decent prediction though. Iowa shouldn't have won it's last 3 games, so it's hard to say they'll go undefeated. the only way they have a chance is if they do go undefeated. |

In Iowa's last Three games they have beat Wisconsin buy 10 at Wisconsin, where they gave up less than 70 yards in the 2nd half and zero points. Then they beat Mich St. on the road on a last second play which might have been a little lucky but they were in position to win all game. And last week they beat Indiana by 19 points after a horrible 3rd quarter. How should they have lost all three of those games? |

1) I'm a Wisconsin fan, Iowa should have lost.
2) EXACTLY. They won in the last second against Michigan State. 99% of college teams lose in those circumstances. 3)They had a miraculous 4th quarter and played horrible for the first 3 quarters. I just can't put Iowa in the national championship. Not until they have consistent play. |

Pretty sure losing to Northwestern makes it impossible to be in the National Championship game. Being in the Big 10 should preclude you from being in the National championship.

man! Stanford played amazing. I think they only dropped one pass all game. We were deflated out there and dug ourselves in a hole.
Were still half a game ahead of arizona in the pac 10 so we cant lose anymore. Everyone who wants a chance has to win out. |

Cal showed pretty definitively today that they're pretty mediocre. They can crush the bad teams and beat the other mediocre ones, but every good team we've faced this year has eat us. At this point, it's hard to get too upset about underachieving when we don't have the same talent level we've had in years past.
God I hope we win the Big Game, though. Stanford looks better every week. |

Great day of football in the Pac-10. Cal beat Stanford (best Big Game in ages) and the Oregon/Arizona game was pretty epic, albeit VERY sloppy in the first half.
The Civil War (Oregon State v. Oregon) is going to be huge. Decides who wins the Pac-10. I'm rooting for Oregon, since I think they have a much better chance of crushing Ohio State. Oregon State has a shot too, but I'd be more comfortable with Oregon. Bold prediction: Pac-10 goes no worse than 5-1 in Bowl games, with a realistic shot at 6-0. The Pac-10 is the deepest it's been in years. Time to get some respect. |

Good luck. I'm getting pretty sick of OSU... haven't beaten those bastards since the 06 season now.

Throw in another win if UCLA gets picked up for a bowl (Pac-10 only has a six bowl contract, so UCLA would have to pick up something from an unaffiliated bowl). |

Hahaha I do like the uniforms! Well, I like this years (oooh feathers) and the crazy neon / hi-lighter helmet from previous years. I HATED the diamond plated reflector B$ from the previous years blech.
Did you know Nike now designs uniforms for a couple of other teams? Ohio States' uniforms from this past weekend were Nike designed: And to think I hate Nike just up until last year. Never wore any Nike gear before then... accepting of Nike and have Burton boards now... things have DEFINITELY changed. Ride Qi site launching this week!

Congrats to the ducks and anyone else who didnt want to see USC in the rose bowl again.
How about that game last night? the two grittiest and hungry teams in the PAC 10 battled last night at Autzen for the PAC 10 title and it could be the division game of the year. I have never been as excited or as nervous as i was last night. Made my stomach flip upside down. But in a good way...There was a lot of emotion out in the stands as i remember getting into it with a very rude beaver fan who was sitting in the row in front of me. But thats just comes with the territory. I was blown away by the atmosphere inside that stadium and wont soon forget it. Come ready ohio st! The Gang Green will be in full force in pasadena. Heres some footy from the post game field celebration. Got a lot of video last night and this is just a random one i picked out. |

Cal's regular season is over. This is the weirdest Cal season I've seen since I became a fan. Can't say it's nearly as gut-wrenching as 2007, but it's much more puzzling. That team simply lacked cohesiveness and leadership. This team has looked looked terrible, they've looked great, they've looked gutty and game, and they've laid down after getting smacked in a couple games. Don't know what to make of them and I don't know what to expect next year.
It'll be interesting to see whether Cal can leapfrog USC in the Pac-10 bowl situations (they're tied for fifth). Cal will probably bring a bigger, louder crowd since they're local. But they played in the game last year and USC will probably bring in better ratings. |

While Nebraskas defense is top of the line, Nebraskas Offense was one of the more horrendous things ive endured since watching washington state try to run a play.
They completely blew it at the end too. They handed texas the win. Im pretty sure their kicker got paid to kick it out of bounds on the final kickoff. That was ridiculous. The penalty was awful too but not as bad. |

^ I totally agree with everything you said except about the kicker. It seemed to me it just took a bad bounce, and he tried to pin them in a corner too much. I mean, it landed in bounds at like the ten yard line and bounced out.
And the penalty, it's hard to say if that was bad or not. Who knows if texas would have ran that in for a touch down if he didn't horse collar him. There was nobody in front of the texas player, and if it wasn't for that horse collar, he might have scored a touch down. At the same time though, he should have used a more legal tackling method, or at least do something to slow him down long enough for another husker to take him down. Gawd, I can't get enough of that black shirt defense though. It takes a lot to stop that Texas offense, and by golly, Nebraska did it. I can't remember what the final sack total was, but I remember it being at eight in the beginning of the third quarter. |

Never been a BAMA fan but since Saban, their offence is much more entertaining.. Yes I know they still do alot of up the middle and sweeps but they are BAMA and thats whats expected. This is the SEC not the BIG 10(michigan
) Was not really sold on Ingram and Richardson and their O line till the Florida Game...BAMA or Gators could beat anyone from the Big 12 |
