SOLD

$110 shipped to the US
, $250 msrp.. less than half price and free shipping.
will ship to canada and overseas for the extra price of shipping.
includes everything.. both disks, hardware, etc.
ill throw in a few diecuts of your choice as well.

i realize sierra is still stocked with these for only $5 more.. but thatll buy you a sandwich!  or something.  AND free diecuts, potentially worth $20+ cause those things get expensive.  plus, you get the satisfaction of knowing i got a little more money in my pocket to survive without a job just that much longer.  support spenser!

they literally have two runs on them and you cant tell theyve been used, they are virtually brand new.  i actually really liked them, but they dont have a spot in my "quiver" at the moment.  theyre a bit more responsive than i like on my all around board.. would be perfect for my fish, but they dont work with ICS, so i cant swing em right now.. otherwise i would definitely keep them.

quick question. Forces or Betas?

ahahaha!

j/k, I have both the Forces and the Betas. Both are great bindings! Someone will enjoy these, and at a great price.

noticeably stiffer than cartels for sure.  i would say yes, theyre fairly stiff.  not rock solid by any means, though.

I personally thought the Forces were more responsive than my Betas. Not a drastic difference in feel with these two binders though. I can't speak to the Contacts.

they felt stiffer than forces to me for sure, no doubt.  some people think cartels and forces feel pretty different.. i thought they were very similar.  but betas were easily noticeably stiffer by far.  for me.

huh, interesting. I would disagree after riding them both back to back on the same board.

Either way, sick bindings. For sure.

very good actually, probably the best ive used.  you have the sturdy aluminum baseplate with a thin slab of rubber (?) underneath (between the baseplate and board) and it feels more dense than most padding.  then you also have the normal foam padding which feels quality.. not cheap.. and theres some rubber parts in there too.  very good.

for comparison, i ride forces usually, and i think theyre a great damp binding.. no chattery feeling whatsoever in any situation (ive had bindings like customs and missions that had some chattery issues on super firm snow/ice or on hard landings), and they seem to absorb shock very well.  also used a couple EST bindings and i like both forces and the betas better as far as shock absorbtion for sure.

These do look nice and "flat" around the bottom of the base plate. Like the actual part that is in contact with your board is quite thin, where as Forces have a chunky bottom base plate sort of thing. Can you feel any difference between the chunkyness of the bottom of the base plates?

(I hope this makes sense. Its late and I cant be bothered describing what I mean in detail. Hence the use of the word Chunky.)
I only snowboard because it makes me look cool.

i know what you mean.

both of them feel... i dont know.. fine?  good?  the only difference in feel would be the dampness, if anything.  it wasnt drastic, but i did feel like the rides were nice and solid in that area, like they absorbed impact well or whatever.  i dont know, its hard to say.  and i also feel like forces are very good in the same impact-absorbing way, so..

Spenser, I know you mounted some Unions on ICS, is there a way that these could mount on ICS?

of course i took a look.  i think it would work, but i didnt want to actually do it.. its not the same as unions.  the burton plates fit well in unions and the disk sits exactly the same in them as they do in burtons, so as far as mounting them, its just like burtons.  in rides, the disks dont fit as well but the teeth still grip well, but i think the bottom of the disk sits just a hair (maybe 1mm at most, but still) past the underside of the baseplate, but then theres the rubber dampening layer under the baseplate, so that makes the disk and baseplate flush.... but when you tighten it down, id think you might not be able to get it tight enough, cause the plate would be flush on the topsheet, and its not gonna go past that, so if its not pulling the binding baseplate down as much.. i dunno.

that didnt come out as well as it should have, hopefully it makes sense.  in short, i think it would work, but i wouldnt personally want to do it.  also, ride was going to come out with ICS disks for next year, but they decided not to.

HMMM.  Okay.  I've always wondered this.  Couldn't you just rotate a 4 hole disk 90 degrees and then drop the bolts in?

definitely only use an ICS disk for it, the bolts are totally different.

i keep forgetting i have these bindings, haha.  same with my 09 deeluxe ID boots that are still brand new, a couple jackets, and who knows what else.  if only i could get back the money i originally spent on them, id have a few hundred extra bucks, which i could  greatly use right now.
