Rossignol is a ski and snowboard company founded in Isere, France in 1907. Rossignol originally produced both textile and ski equipment until purchased in 1950 by Nils Boix Vives, when the company then began to focus solely on ski equiment. Since then, Rossignol has been purchased by Quiksilver in 2005. This began production of Rossignol Snowboards.
