"Get some Feenoms!" 11/13/2008
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  These goggles are awesome with a great field of view, and the lens shape really helps. They are comfortable and soft against your face, and have great ventilation so there in not a lot of fogging.
  • Cons:  The nose at first is a little bit tight, but after wearing them for a little while, it doesnt pinch.

Experience:   These are awesome goggles! The chrome series is than the normal lenses, so if you can find some chromes go with those. These are still awesome goggles though, and you should definately get a pair of these if you can!

"Good goggles for medium-to-large head" 6/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Great fit for larger heads, and interfaces well with my helmet (RED mutiny), leaving zero gap. No fogging, but have only used in warm spring conditions.
  • Cons:  Didn't fit my nose particularly well, but that can vary from face-to face.

Experience:   The default bronze chrome lenses that shipped with this gave me a headache after wearing them in bright sunlight for a few hours, which is what they're supposed to be optimal for. But a lot of people love them so I'm hesitant to mark them down based on that.

"Nice Big Goggles" 5/27/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  The Von Zipper Feenoms are one big pair of goggles. They've got a ton of peripheral vision and are quite comfy. They haven't fogged on me and keep my face fairly warm. The extra lens they came with is nice as well. I definitely like the option of buying additional lenses for various conditions. Also, I wear glasses, and although these aren't OTG goggles per se, they work very well over my glasses and are quite easy to slip on and off.
  • Cons:  So the biggest issue for me with these goggles is the nose gap I have. I know other people with fairly low nose bridges haven't had problems with them, but I still have a small gap when I'm wearing them properly. I can sag the goggles down a bit to close the nose gap, but then they're not quite as comfy. This is a small issue, but may be important for some people. Also, my helmet is fairly large, and when getting the goggle strap over the back of the helmet and loosening it completely, it's still just a little snug. Not uncomfortable, but snug.

Experience:   I got the smoke green chrome lenses and they're good for cloudy/overcast days, but not quite as good for very sunny days. I was squinting a little when I wore them in really bright spring conditions. Something to keep in mind when choosing lens colors.

"WTF!?!?! OMG THESE VON ZIPPER GOGGLES..." 5/20/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Great fit, I love the comfort. Its very light I have max peripfs. i havent used this on the mountain yet but i seriously cant wait one of the pros is that i got it for 45bucks shipped!
  • Cons:  when these came in i notice there was already a small scratch on the lens :( i dont know if this was sierra or vz's fault but oh well i got it for hella cheap i would of been really angry if i bought it retail.

Experience:   I bought the smokey grey lens I didnt know that the different len's had optimal performance for different situations. My goggles are great for blizzard and overcast and ok for night riding but im usually going to go during the day and i hope im never in a bilzzard so if any of you guys are in my boat with the lens just buy a different lens like the fire chrome (its primed for sun use!)

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  The brown luxe color and pattern are sick! Goggles are a nice fit, but watch out because they are not for all noses/faces. Nice bonus of the extra lens to accommodate dark lighting.

"Von Zipper Feenoms" 4/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Excellent field of vision, great look, great fit, no fogging, fits decently with helmet.
  • Cons:  Not for small faces, make sure they fit your face before buying them.

Experience:   These goggles, in my opinion, are unmatched by any other goggle on the market today. Electric EG2's come in a close second, but I think the Feenoms are the best. They look awesome, perform awesome, and are just all around excellent goggles. Probably the best thing about the Feenoms is the vision quality. The lens is very large, so you will never have problems with peripheral and downward view. See my in-depth review of VZ Feenoms vs. Electric EG2's for more information: http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=25767

"Sick Goggs" 3/31/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Huge field of vision, rubber grip on inside of strap keeps from slipping on helmet, durable
  • Cons:  Helmet hinge on side of goggle doesn't open as much as other goggles I've used (Smith Phenoms, Anon Figments, Dragon Mace), but still seems to do the job with my helmet, Cost

Experience:   Was dissapointed when I ordered these on Friday and saw they shipped USPS rather than UPS/FedEx, but all concerns were averted when they were on my doorstep Monday morning (in CT, so coast to coast). Really psyched with the speed of shipping

"Amazing goggles!" 3/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Von Zipper Feenom
  • Pros:  Great goggles. Super comfy, never fog up at all, strap is plenty big enough to fit around my helmet. NO wind comes up through the bottom. Sweat doesn't build up underneath. Great peripheral vision. Good for medium to large faces. Very light weight.
  • Cons:  Lens that came with it wasn't great. Skullcandy headphones aren't too great either. But they do the job.

Experience:   Purchased a fire chrome lens seperately and it was amazing!
