Salomon Falcon 9 Ski Boots

Last year, the Salomon Falcon 9 was one of my “go to” boots to sell for intermediate to conservative advanced level skiers with lower volume feet. It has the same close fit as the Falcon 10, but it isn’t as stiff. The liner is the “My Custom Fit Pro” model. It has the right balance of comfort and dense performance foam.

After trying on the Falcon 9, I realized the footshape that would match the boot the best is a lower volume one. The forefoot of the shell is cut at 98 mm, so a person with a narrow foot should rejoice. The instep felt medium to me. The heel felt low to medium.
