Salomon Dialogue Snowboard Boots
Item # : 433792 |
Year : 2008
Sierra Says: The Salomon Dialogue is an excellent all-mountain boot, perfect for intermediate to advanced riders. It is stiff enough to provide adequate response at speed, but also forgiving enough for sketchier turns and landings. From helping you through those sketchy first turns to stomping big spins in the park, the Dialogue is a boot anyone can enjoy. Salomon Says: After 10 years of existence, the Dialogue has had a special relationship with many of our riders: from being on the feet of Benedek when he was the first rider to do all 9s in a video part to Josh's historic monster air on the June hip, it is a true freestyle classic. And it is still the best example of our know-how in boot fit and performance. Newly equipped with a Powerlace Pro Soft, its features list has reached a new high. Heat moldable: Yes Zonal Lacing: Yes Lacing System: Salomon Powerlace Pro Soft

Salomon Dialogue Snowboard Boots Reviews (2 total)1/15/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: This boot has the best heel hold of any boot that I have tried on. The liners aren't like other manufacturers who use EVA foam, but stitched and fit very well. They are lightweight and flex is nice and soft and is great for park and freestyle riding. The speed lacing system makes them easy to put on and adjust on the mountain.
Another advantage to the stitched liners is that they can be washed and do not retain odor as easily as foam. The boots are breathable and I rarely have sweaty feet with them.
Cons: The speed lacing system can get loose sometimes, and the tightening clip often slips off the boot, but it is easy to readjust. I find it a bit harder to hike uphill in these sometimes due to the shallow treads on the boot.
Other Thoughts: The gold and brown styling makes it look like a womens boot, but that is just my opinion. Not that it should stop you from trying these great boots.
1/15/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: I have pretty narrow feet, so when I went to the shop, the 32, Burton, and DC boots didn't fit very well and had weird pressure points. The Salomon Dialogue was definitely the most comfy of the boots I tried. These boots are pretty flexible and the Salomon Dialogue Selects are definitely good-looking boots. The power lace system, when it locks, works very well; it makes tightening up your boots while in line much easier than with regular laces
Cons: I've always had problems with heel slip, and although these boots are the best I've tried on, it would be great if they could have even more heel-hold. The power lace system can sometimes unlock over the course of the day. The side handle clip that you attach to the side of the boot will most likely slip off after awhile, but it will not affect how tight your boots are.
Other Thoughts: Don't buy your boots based on how comfy they are when you're standing or walking. Lean forward to imitate your stance when snowboarding to see how much room you have at the toes. You want your toes to almost touch the tip. Even if they are slightly touching, the boots should be good as they tend to pack out by a 1/2 size over the course of a few days on the mountain.
