Sierra Says: If you carve hard and need performance, than the Rome Blue is singing your tune. This aggressive all-mountain board will rip it up with the best of them without compromising a smooth, effortless ride.

Rome Says:A super-charged design, the Blue has always been the board of choice for riders who ride pow lines, lay ruts on groomers, and mix in a few straight airs along the way. And this one?s not your older sister?s Blue?the new edition is powered up with Kevlar PressurePop Technology to give more snap off the tail for riding the mountain with speed, precision and finesse.

SuperPop Core Matrix-Wood equals the bones on the snowboard (inside). This is the strongest and most performance oriented wood core from Rome.

StraightTriax 30 Laminate-This is a fancy word for fiberglass, which acts like the muscles of your snowboard. There are 3 strands for fiberglass in this board, which creates a medium/stiff performance flex.

SinterSpeed Base- Sintered Bases are the fastest and need to be waxed almost every time you ride. If you base is white, it is screaming WAX ME!

Mountain Edge Bevel- -1/-1 which provides maximum edge grip.

Cons: heavier than avg,

Experience: My girlfriend loves this board, totally can kill the mountain with this board. Quick edge to edge allowing for quick turns. This board is stiff so handling the tight turns at high speeds is no problems. You would have to play a bit to dial in that pop if you want play with this board and presses are harder but possible.

Experience: My friend has this board and loves it. A great progression board. I used it for a few groomed trails and found it had great control! Would recommend for intermediate all mountain riders!

Experience: I love this board! I normally ride on greens and some easier blues, but within one day on this board I had already progressed to becoming comfortable carving on blue runs and some blacks. There were times when I got nervous with the speed but the edge control was great and kept me from falling. Also, I love the service at sierra snowboard; shipping was super fast.

Experience: I have the 2009 model of the Rome Blue and believe it has greatly improved my riding after just a few times snowboarding this season. I went from a pretty good beginner to a good intermediate rider, able to take on blues and black diamonds comfortably now for the first time. It's the all-around perfect snowboard for women (I.M.O.).. I absolutely love the Rome Blue would buy this same board again if I ever have to replace my current one.
