Sierra Says: Over the years one board has captured the spotlight in the jibbing world and it looks like it won’t be leaving any time soon. Back for 09/10 and as badass as ever, the famous Rome Artifact will continue to impress. This true twin freestyle legend is for the riders who need to tap, poke, tweak, slash, and slide anything and everything. Not even the urban city is safe from this phenomenon. Combine the forgiving Biaxial laminates with bronze edges that are soft and catch free and you have a board meant for the extreme freestyler and a snow weapon not to be taken lightly.

Rome Says: Bomb drop a sketchy stonewall while a rent-a-cop threatens to call the real cops. Get towed into a wall-ride setup on a big box store somewhere in the outskirts of SLC, at 3am. Switch backlip the kink in the Mammoth park as Suicidal Tendencies blares into your headphones. With the Artifact, it’s Shangri-Brah all the way for vagrants who love the feel of soft, easy-to-press, lock-on-to-rails snowboarding.

"Awesome board!!!" 10/4/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Rome Artifact
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  good flex, strong build,
  • Cons:  top sheet scratches, bronze edges,

Experience:   buttery like heck. You can press easily without any effort. i demo'd this in the 08/09 season and was so impressed i purchased the 2009 model. the construction hasn't really changed for the 2010 model so it'll be something familiar to those who already have this awesome jib stick. Oddly enough, it'll hold pretty well on the mountain to thrash around. If you go jetting down like a bullet, it shatter a tiny bit. Absolutely destroys in the park. It catches a lot of attention (even without the awesome nude girls theme, lol).

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Rome Artifact
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Groomers,Jumps,Powder,Rails
  • Pros:  SUPER FLEXY!!!!!, jibbiristic,
  • Cons:  not too stable at high speeds,

Experience:   i havent yet taken this deck out on to the moutain but it seems dope. i rode it on some turf and some rails the other day and it performed AMAZINGLY!! i also enjoyed buttering it up in the living room the other day! however, juding from last years model when your cruzing on super high speeds toward the park, the board starts shaking pretty badly. also not to nice in powder, however it is very maneuvarble in the glades. all in all, id have to call it my favorite board in my quiver!

Experience:   Be Careful. Much like the Burton Love, many ski resorts prevent their employees from riding this board based on the graphic. Apparently these resorts do NOT like live nude girls.

  • Pros:  lightweight, Soft

Experience:   not as soft as i was expecting considering what i always heard about these things. a little bit softer than my graft. great for rails/boxs and its pretty light too. at high speeds there is a lot of chatter, as expected. very fun board, i sold my skate banana to get this board and im satisfied. cant complain having a beautiful girl between your legs when you thrash either.
