Question
Would a ride decade make a decent intermediate/beginner board?
-- i've been a couple times, but caught on quick
--- i need something wide because i have size 13.5 feet
---- r there some other boards u would recommend if not the decade?
----- would a ride yukon be better?
------ I'm 6'6" and 205 lbs and have a size 13.5 shoe size
------- I would really appreciate any thoughts or input
-------- ok...any bindings you would recommend to go with that?
--------- sweet...thanks so much for all your help!
Best Answer
The Decade may be a bit much for a beginner / intermediate. It would probably be a bit better for intermediate / advanced.
-- But, if you've already got turning down pretty well and are progressing well, I wouldn't bypass it.
--- If you've already got turning down and are progressing well, the Decade could work out really well for you. And it would cater to your size 13 boot. The Yukon won't be much different, the Decade will be great for all mountain riding in general
---- Either the Burton Cartel or even the Union Data would be a good match
----- No problem!!

Question
I wear a size 12 boot, would you recommend getting a wide board, or are the normal boards ok?
-- I'd say in the intermediate range
--- I want something fairly flexible and something shorter like 155 ish
---- I'd say more park
----- what about the ride Dose?
------ so 260mm is an ok waist
------- what would you say a good waist range would be for a size 12 boot?
-------- how much overhang do you have on that board?
--------- that's not bad, the board I'm riding now is way too narrow, I've probably got an inch and a half toe and heel
---------- Cool thanks for the help

Wide board is necessary.
-- anything around 11-11.5 and up needs a wide board.
--- the Ride Decade Wide is pretty sweet. what level rider are you?
---- more park oriented, or all mountain?
----- stole the words right out of my fingers. 156
------ yeah, i have a 13 foot, and the narrowest i can ride is 259mm
------- about 1/2 inch equal toe and heel.
-------- wow, that is way too much
