"Great Beginner's Board" 8/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand

Experience:   I've tried a few beginner's boards....by Burton & Ride, but I found this board to be the best for the money. It is soft flexing to help you learn to link your turns, which I credit this board to helping me do just that. And it comes with a sintered base..... try to find another board in this price range that has that.

"Great beginner board for the price." 8/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Great value, Soft, Well known brand

Experience:   So I bought this for my wife as she is getting into snowboarding. I used to have a Palmer board, and loved it. Unfortunatly, my taste changed for the riding I did, so I sold I sold it to get a bigger board. Big mistake. I read the other reviews, and I must say they are spot on. It is flexi enough for a beginner, as it will eb easy for her to turn. Plus, it is just plain white/black, which looks sweet. I set it up with some Burton bindings that i bought on here, and her feet fit PERFECTLY (Size 9 womens). For the 480, you can not---I repeat--NOT beat this board.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Great value
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   It said 2009 board on the title but I received a 2007 board? I was wondering if I received the wrong board? However, just from the feel of the board it feels great I know I'm gonna love this in the mountains... get one yourself if you need it!

"Good beginner board" 8/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  lightweight, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Great value, Stiff, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches

Experience:   I got the 154, I am a 6'10 84 kilo guy. Found it was slightly too small for me which meant on the steep blue runs itwas just way too quick fo my skill level, Had a few knocks with some other boards and it really lost some edge chunks, but the bottom was almost brand new after 2 days on the mountain. For a beginner /intermediate an awesome purchase, fast base, good edge hold and nice pop

Experience:   This is a slick looking board. Better looking in person then in pictures. Very happy with purchase. Good all around board. I should be able to progress my skill with this. I give it 5 stars because it's exactly what I want in a board right now.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Pros:  Easy to carve, Great value

Experience:   Its a good board to progress some of your skills on. You can learn to snowboard with this as well as continue to use it when you advance your skills. A little chatter at higher speeds, but overall great board.

"Works for me!" 12/24/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Pros:  Great value, Soft

Experience:   Second season snowboarding and I needed a board to progress on. The board was a little softer than I expected but that worked well in my favor as I was able to control the board better at lower speeds. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

"Good board to progress on" 12/10/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer P Line
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds

Experience:   This is a good board for someone who has only been a few days or its been a long time since they rode last, and are looking to progress as a rider. It is soft enough to maneuver and stiff enough to get some speed. Only con is that this board will only take you so far.

"You're not going to beat it for $150" 8/31/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Palmer P Line
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Great value

Experience:   I got a buddy of mine into snowboarding and this is the board I turned him to. Took it for a test ride as well (I mean c'mon, why not?). Seriously though... for $150 you CANNOT beat it. That's chump change if you look around at one other boards are going for. Definitely on the softer side (for Palmer's) but that just made for a mellower ride down the mountain.

"Palmer P-Line = SUPER FUN!!" 2/24/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Palmer P Line
  • Pros:  I rode this board wondering what it was all about. I soon learned that the P-Line could be a fun board that could be soft enough for someone just stepping into snowboarding, or fun and steady for someone who's advanced, but looking for a great board for an even better price. I rode this on hardpack, off trail and in the trees and was in love with it by the time I got off of it. Overall, super fun board, and a great investment for anyone.

Experience:   Mellow graphic could be great for a sticker or paint marker job!
