"Base color in picture not very accurate" 9/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer Flash Twin
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Well-known brand, Good flex, Great price at 70% off
  • Cons:  base color shown in picture is not accurate,

Experience:   I looked at this board on 3 different computer screens before ordering it, and they all appeared to be a bright medium blue. The actual base color is more of a blue/green, and it is not as bright as the stock photo. Not a big deal, but it definitely won't match my son's blue jacket or the blue helmet that we ordered with the board because it matched the board.

Steve
It is a park board, specifically made for park riding. That is like giving a jeep a crappy review because it sucks at the dragstrip.

"Palmer Flash Twin Review" 7/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer Flash Twin
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Soft

Experience:   Performs very well through the park, but it can hold it's own on the rest of the mountain. Can be a little sketchy on bigger booters because of how soft it is, but it isn't terrible. All around a pretty good board for the price.

  • Name: 2009 Palmer Flash Twin
  • Pros:  Easy to carve, Great value
  • Cons:  Top sheet scratches, Doesn't perform, Low quality

Experience:   My buddy has this board. I rode it once and was not a big fan, just didn't seem as well made as other boards I've ridden. It's not very soft and not a stiff board, also not very damp. Just overall was not impressed. It's a decent board though I suppose for the current 100 dollar area price tag.
