"More of an All Mountain Freestyle" 4/25/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer Burn
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Strong edgehold, Great value, Stiff

Experience:   The Palmer Burn is a very advanced freestyle board that holds such a good edge that it can be called an all mountain board. Twin shape, great edge hold and TONS of pop are the traits of the Burn. Don't dog this board until you try it.

"Sweet Stable board" 9/14/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Palmer Burn
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  damp, fast, stable
  • Cons:  Graphic could be brighter (not really a con),

Experience:   Agree with others that this board is damn stable at high speeds yet damp enough to land those big airs. I swear I was landing things alot easier with this board, huge upgrade from my beginner board.

"Great all-around board" 9/17/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Palmer Burn
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, Stable at high speeds, Great value, Stiff
  • Cons:  Heavy

Experience:   This board is great for anyone who has been boarding for a few years and is ready to tackle some harder stuff on the mountain. It's very stable and doesn't fly around on you, even at really high speeds. You can do pretty much what you want on it in the park, but I wouldn't expect superior performance compared to other "park boards." It is alot heavier than the Palmer Carbon Circle II that I own. As for the value, you can't beat it for an all-mountain board.

"This replaced my Custom" 8/31/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Palmer Burn
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Stable at high speeds, Great value, Stiff
  • Cons:  Too stiff

Experience:   This board actually replaced my Custom for daily rider. It was also the board I took out on my last day of the season. I forgot how much fun it was. Not exactly the lightest board in the quiver, it's damp and stable at speeds and over the chattery stuff. Not a soft board either, could definitely get some good pop out of it and can hold a nice tailpress without sliding out on you. Not bad for an all-mountain offering (I feel it's a bit too stiff for pure park).

"Great all-around board" 1/18/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Palmer Burn
  • Pros:  Consistent flex, smooth on everything, very comparable to my Burton Custom at a lower price (at the deal)...and I got it on the $100 board deal! Just an all-around great board. Very impressed after owning mostly Burton and Ride boards over the past 15 years.
  • Cons:  A little "low energy" coming off the jumps.

"Great board at a great price" 1/15/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Palmer Burn
  • Pros:  This board is super responsive and light, and mixed with the new honeycomb in the tip and tail it makes it even stronger than most boards. The side wall helps it to hold a nice edge down the mountain and make it a killer board
  • Cons:  None for the price!

Experience:   This board is a killer steal, jump on this QUICK
