Sierra Says: The Palmer Burn is a great freestyle all mountain boar for the rider looking to up there skills and they looking for a board to go with them. A centered stance and new Honeycomb Nomex tip and tail give a balance, give the Burn much better balance for rails and spins. To add to the list of greatness, the Burn has won a Transworld GoodWood award. A must have for any one serious about progression.
Lightweight construction and new centered stance for fast spins and snappy for easy landings. Klothoid shape, NCF prepreg, and new full-sidewall construction. Combining rock solid, lightweight beech/poplar woodcore with Nomex Honeycomb in tip and tail reduces swing weight and makes the Burn a memorable ride. The durable easy-to-fix Isospeed 4400 high speed base is yet another reason to trade up to better riding. Original winner of Transworlds Good Wood Top 10, the new Burn features a smooth lacquer finish. The tool that allows riders to constantly innovate their style and to do anything on the mountain. Palmer Burn Snowboard Reviews (2 total)9/17/2008 Graphics: simple and clean

Pros: Durable, Stable at high speeds, Great value, Stiff
Cons: Heavy
Other Thoughts: This board is great for anyone who has been boarding for a few years and is ready to tackle some harder stuff on the mountain. It's very stable and doesn't fly around on you, even at really high speeds. You can do pretty much what you want on it in the park, but I wouldn't expect superior performance compared to other "park boards." It is alot heavier than the Palmer Carbon Circle II that I own. As for the value, you can't beat it for an all-mountain board.

Pros: Stable at high speeds, Great value, Stiff
Cons: Too stiff
Other Thoughts: This board actually replaced my Custom for daily rider. It was also the board I took out on my last day of the season. I forgot how much fun it was. Not exactly the lightest board in the quiver, it's damp and stable at speeds and over the chattery stuff. Not a soft board either, could definitely get some good pop out of it and can hold a nice tailpress without sliding out on you. Not bad for an all-mountain offering (I feel it's a bit too stiff for pure park).
