Likes: I own the skate banana and it is probably THE best board i've ever had/ridden

Dislikes: the graphics are ehh, but besides that, I really dont know of any dislikes

Likes: The guys and girls over at Mervin Manufacturing have never let me down in 10+ years of Northwest riding. They have consistently progressed snowboarding tech by using quality materials and unique designs from the tucked tip and tail edges and air cores with cap construction to magnetraction and banana tech (and C2). I have an old Pacifier 163 (Lib Tech) and the thing still impresses me with how light and agile it is, and cap construction where the top sheet covers the sidewall to sandwich in the layers of tech goodness has always been bomb proof for me. I have an old stupid cap 154 (Gnu) that is still rideable (only the edges need some sharpening) and that thing is from the 90s. Check out the film Mervin: The Mockumentary. It will melt your face off. Seriously - Best. Robots. Ever.

Dislikes: None from a personal standpoint. Maybe the top sheet dents, so does every snowboard if you're really charging on it. I have a new 159 banana, going to see how all this new fangled magnebanana reverse camber stuff works, but something tells me Lib Tech will not disappoint. Can't beat good 'ol 'handcrafted near canada'

Likes: Once you ride MTX/BTX you will never want to buy a board without it. For real.

Dislikes: NONE.

Likes: Lib Tech is dirty. I rode my friends skate banana and fell in love with it. I still haven't purchased one, but i really want to. They are sick.

Dislikes: The prices can be a little ridiculous at times, but still worth it.

Likes: Amazing stuff. Great boards. Great performance.

Dislikes: Expensive.

Likes: super good snowboard company. great idea making the Banana. high quality, good fashion

Likes: ah, the famous banana... riding it can be quite fun and even a different experience than a "normal" board. they really believe in all their new technology, and apparently a lot of people do too, since they've generated such a huge following. it'll be interesting to see how much of the banana-thing is for real, and how much is a 'fad'.

Likes: Everything Lib Tech is snowboarding, unlike other companies that are just fat skis. Ive ridden many boards in my day from sims switch blade (old school) to the present burton love, witch i love. but no board handles or feels just right like my lib tech, super soft super pop handles everything i throw at it and in the northeast we get everything. this company rocks but id stay with the softer boards like skate banana or box scratcher

Likes: Lib Tech continues to amaze me. The btx and mtx technologies let you get what you need. They have an awesome selection of boards. The skate banana is probably the most popular board out there. They keep coming out with new technologies and handmake their boards in the USA!!

Dislikes: The only thing i don't like is that the edges on their boards don't go all the way around.

Likes: make awesome stuff

Likes: I don't own a lib tech board but I have ridden one. I'm saving my money to get one asap. I've never had such a great time boarding nor an easier time than I had on the Lib I tried out. I'm planning on getting one this year.

Likes: a very innovative company.

Dislikes: the gear quality could be much better

Likes: MADE in the USA! (NOT CHINA) Mervin is the most innovative snowboard company around. They make an effort to give the people what they want and they care about the environment. I have owned several Lib-Tech and Gnu snowboards. They keep jobs in the states and consistently put out quality innovative products. No wonder they have such a loyal following.

Dislikes: Some of the graphics tend to be sloppy and sometimes tacky looking. Anything that has similarities to that aweful Ed Hardy shit is a turn-off.

Likes: These are excellent boards. I've owned 5 Lib Techs in the past, and I will continue to own them in the future. Lib offers an extensive product line, so you're sure to find a board for your style of riding. Since all Lib boards are hand-made, you won't see as many Libs as Burtons on the mountain, which is a good thing. With my experience, I would highly recommend Lib's products to anyone I know.

Dislikes: Edges do not wrap around the tip and tail. I haven't had an issue with this personally, as I don't run into trees as much as others, apparantly.

Likes: great company these boards are really well made

Likes: I started riding the Lib Tech TRS 3 seasons ago and once i got onto that board there was no turning back. I instantly noticed an increase in my performance. I really enjoy the board feel that you recieve when riding a Lib because the flexing and transitions you make are very fluid. Now that Magne-traction is in place, I rode the 09 Dark Series MTX and was instantly stoked. MTX gives the best edge grip ever and still allows for easy transitions and no hang-ups. Banana Traction also is a killer design to allow riders to have an easier time learning to rip it through the park or to ride through the backcountry. The best part about Lib Tech is they try new designs with their products that gets people stoked!

Likes: 6 years ago I picked up my first decent board which happened to be a Lib Tech Dark series. I didn't know much about Lib or the board I was getting but the first day I rode it, I realized that there was a god. How such a fast, poppy, playful, and responsive board came into my life was simply a divine miracle. I've sported the dark series model ever since. I love Lib Tech and am always able to buy them with full confidence that its gonna be an amazing board. They aren't afraid to break away from traditional board making and try something new which is respectable. There Magnetraction is beyond spectacular! Works amazingly all over the mountain.

Dislikes: How popular Lib is getting!! It used to be only me with my precious Lib now everyone and there mother is getting one! On my first one the top sheet used to delam easily but havent had any problems with my 08 yet.

Likes: Magnetractions absolutely destroys hardpack...Perfect for the East Coast or Midwest rider.. Lib Boards just ride well, have great graphics and ALWAYS are ahead of the pack tech-wise.. My TRICE was a perfect medium-flex and handled high-speed open bowls in Colorado as well as ice-covered hills here in the midwest.. I just purchased A skate banana 159 and plan on purchasing another TRICE to ride this year. I would recommend Lib boards to anyone interested in having a fun day on the mountain.

Dislikes: The base on my 08 Trice did not hold wax well, but rumor has it(confirmed by Trevor at Lib tech) that the bases have improved this year- The base on my 09 Banana looks "wet"-LOL
