The essence of a Recon
Terrain Use: All Mountain
Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Great value, Well known brand
Other Thoughts: I bought this board last season and only got to ride it once, but it was a nice board (aside from the fact it was too small for me). The board has a nice float to it and it holds a real nice edge. It can keep up with some speed too. It was a good all mountain freestyle board, I didn't take it to the park so I am not sure how it will handle rails and such but jibbing on some groomers it was fine.

Forum Recon
Pros: Great all-mountain board for a beginner looking to step his or her way up to the intermediate level. Provides smooth turns for the more experienced riders. 7.9 Meter Sidecut Radius. Sweet looking ride with the mystery park sketches on top.
Cons: Not the best stick for rails.
Other Thoughts: Both a friend and I had the chance to check this stick out via renting it from a local board shop and we both fell in love with it. Nice flex on the 153 length and awesome for little butter moves and such. Only problems with it is that it didnt take to rails as nicely as it did the rest of the park. You will definitely not be disappointed if you decide to make the Forum Recon your next board this season!
