Sierra Says: The Destroyer is the keystone in Forum's freestyle lineup. The median in flex, tech, and price, this board is great for every type of freestyle riding and any type of freestyle rider. Add Forum Chilly Dog tech, reverse camber, and you have an even more versatile board. Of course you can ride this board anywhere, but the terrain park is its habitat. Jump or jib, pro comp or progression park, you will see the Destroyer handle business everywhere.

Forum Says: A new twist on a Forum classic. This Chillydog infused flagship brings Rocker fun to those destroying what lies in their path. No fruit here-- this stable, rail slaying, transition stomping master redefines what i... More »

  • Pros:  Perfect all in one board, ill graphics,

Experience:   You cant go wrong with the 2010 Forum Destroyer. It is stiff enough to hit larger park features, and soft enough to jib. The control of the destroyer allows you to navigate the whole mountain. The destroyer has ill edge control, which makes an awesome pipe board and park board.

  • Pros:  Durable, Lightweight, Flexible
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   This board is perfect. I love the fact that it's a great name brand that offers the latest and greatest technology. Not only is it pretty flexible, which gives it pop for all that freestyle terrain park stuff, but it stands up to high speed and cutting through powder. Only problems, I was forced to get a 158W when I typically would run a 156. It's all gravy though. The board is so awesome, the slight size difference is almost unnoticeable. BTW - I love how it looks.

"Great Board" 1/25/2010

  • Name: 2010 Forum Destroyer Chillydog
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Stable yet playful, Fast Base, Versatile
  • Cons:  Not the greatest pop,

Experience:   Me: intermediate-advanced, riding 5 years, ~20-30 days per year. I have been between 190-200 this season and rode the 156W. The Destroyer Chilly is a really fun, versatile board. I have ridden a Banana and owned a TRS BTX and hands down prefer the Destroyer Chilly. It's pretty burly in the middle, but softer in the tips, so it holds a surprisingly solid edge at speed but is still plenty playful in the tips for butters and presses. I never rode it in powder, but being reverse camber I have little doubt that it'd perform well relative to size. At my size I was pretty impressed at how well it held up at speed when I took it out to Snowbird and the Canyons in Utah, both in softer snow and hardpack/ice. It is an absolute BLAST in bumps at speed. I was pretty impressed at how it held edge without any sort of help from magnetration or similar kind of sidecut gimmicks. The biggest weakness, like a lot of rockered sticks, is pop. It's better than a lot of reverse camber boards I've ridden, but nowhere close to a solid cambered stick. On the plus side, it's easier to kind snap an ollie since you don't have on the tail as you would a cambered board. So I'd say it's easier to pop small stuff, but you have to work it more to get a ton of boost.

  • Pros:  Poppy, Handels Pow, Pretty, Fast, Chilly Dog, Makes You ride better, Controlable, Well Known Brand
  • Cons:  Havent found any,

Experience:   I have rode this board on jumps, rails, and some pow so far in the season. This board is really nice it is very poppy but stiff enough to handle speed well. I can ollie on to high rails but i can also bomb down runs and after go ride some back country with one board. Even though forum describes it as a park board it can do everything else very well!!!

  • Name: 2010 Forum Destroyer Chillydog
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Mad Buttery.....Nosepresses for days, Fun,Fun,Fun,
  • Cons:  Nose and tail too soft for all-mountain,

Experience:   I just went up to Mt Baker for opening weekend, I'm sure you can see where this is going, and brought my new Destroyer Chilidog. Rode last years with a Stepchild Powder Sucks, and it was great for most things. To my astonishment I found the destroyer, in comparison, to be much more limiting. The board seems like it would be great in the park, for chill jibs and small/med jumps, but it just doesn't hold up for much more. As an all mountain board, I found it to have little stability, and the nose and tail are so soft I was flipping over them all the time. So end result, buy it if you like to chill and want a mega fun, buttery board, which makes park laps better than ever. But for the more serious rider look elsewhere, I would imagine the non-chilidog version would be a better option.

  • Cons:  People will jock your style,

Experience:   If you ride the entire mountain with a freestyle eye, this is your board. If you liked the regular cambered Destoryer you're going to love the Chillidog version!
