This little tool is good to take with you on the mountain. It's quite small but depending on where you stored it on your body a fall on top of it could hurt.
Pros: Very functional, Small enough, Has lots of attachements
Cons: It doesn't fold up, Dangerous to ride wirth,
Experience:
Don't get me wrong this is a great tool and a fantastic tool for the price, but as far as a tool to carry in your pocket goes ill be sticking with the burton one which folds away as this one does not. Too dangerous to carry on the mountain where if you fall over this bad boy might embed intself in your leg or somewhere worse.
As far a great tool to leave in your bag and doesnt take up much room go for it, buy 3 incase you lose 2 of them they actually work quite well as I just found out when I set my new board up with it and also adjusted my flow bindings.
Experience:
Great little tool. I keep it in my jacket pocket to adjust bindings if I need to. Comes with a bunch of heads for different types of screws. Highly recommended tool.
Cons: Foam wrench connector, Cannot stow away all screw bits,
Experience:
Basic board tool that serves its purpose. The styrofoam ring that holds the wrench to the main body can come loose, and the durability is questionable. A bit heavy/bulky compared to pictures and definitely not something to stash in jacket or pants, since one screw bit must always be out (you essentially push one bit into the handle storage while popping another one out). Definitely do not want to risk impaling yourself on that....so would recommending stowing it in a day pack.
Pros: small, compact, 3 ratchet settings, good handle
Cons: no storage for 5th bit,
Experience:
Super convenient and perfect for on the fly adjustments.. the three ratchet settings let you set it for clockwise, counterclockwise, or bidirectional screwdriver turns. It would be nice if it came with another hole to store the 5th bit since I like to carry this in my pocket. I can't imagine I would ever actually land on it, but just something to consider. On the upside, the handle on this thing is good (much better than super compact tools that have little of anything to grip onto).
Experience:
this was an excellent tool as well as the burton one that i used too. i would recommend this to everyone who needs something to carry around the mountain while they ride.
Experience:
This fits in my backpack and it is soo cool i like it because i can take it with me anywhere and once my binding came loose i didn't have to go to the lodge or the car i just fixed it after i got off the lift
Experience:
I borrowed this to use tune my board from a friend. The handle is awkward to hold, I prefer using the T shaped tools to work on my bindings. It feels better in your pocket than a T tool if you need to bring it on the slopes for whatever reasons.
Experience:
great cheap little tool, easy to fit in pocket.
I picked up a few of these as filler, and they are even handy to keep in the house..
having said that , it might be worth stick a beter selection of bits in it.
Experience:
great little tool to have when boarding...i can just take it out and screw the bindings tight within seconds...only wierd part is the attachment that goes on the tool, not sure what it is for but i keep it at home since it sticks out when its attached to the tool.
