Sierra Says: Nothing is better than a snowboard boot that feels like a comfortable skate-shoe when riding. The Scout has been re-configured to deliver optimal freestyle performance while reducing the bulk of the boot so you can be lighter on your feet. It comes with a Boa Coiler system and J-bars for improved closure, support, and heel hold all while making it easy to tie up. You will have the response needed to throw down those big air tricks but still maintain enough mobility for jibbing the various features in the park.   • Cons:  Becomes VERY loose once they break in,

Experience:   I owned these boots for about a half of a season. They were great in the beginning, but once they broke in, I felt like I was standing in an ocean with the amount of space that I had in them. Upgraded to a pair of Burton Hails after that.

Experience:   Used these boots twice so far and i absolutely love them, first off, they are some of the sickest boots ive ever seen. they're extremely comfortable, when walking around, and are great on the board. the boa system is great, no more tying laces!, just always check to see if they loosened up every few runs. other than that, i love them

Experience:   I bought this boot to replace a very old pair of Heelside boots that were long overdue to be replaced. I tried on many different pairs of boots before deciding on the DC Scout. I chose these boots since they were the only pair I tried on that didn't have any heel lift when in the riding stance. I'm so glad that I went with these boots. I wear a size 13 in skate shoes and I wear a size 13 in these boots. My toes just barely graze the end of the boot when standing straight and when in riding stance they slide just off of the end. These boots are also incredibly light. They feel like you are wearing a pair of skate shoes, only they are super warm. I would absolutely recommend these boots to anyone, and not just because of the ease of BOA, but because they are super comfortable and functional.

  • Cons:  If you have black bindings they will rub off onto , your white boots,
  • Shoe Size:  11

Experience:   Great boot all around. Be aware tho that it fits a little small... get a half to full size up from your regular shoe size. The best way to avoid sizing issues tho is to try it on in store(I did this and then came home and bought from Sierra)

Experience:   i purchased these boots and they are more than i expected. the confort in these boots are like standing on a pillow. meaning that they are so cooshiny. the fact that these boots are versitle with just about anything means that you could keep them for a few years. also there dc, that backs up there shit so if your looking for some sick boots i would recomend getting these

  • Pros:  Well Known Brand, Cool Look - Simple Design, Warm and Toasty
  • Cons:  Fit is too small, Boa takes too long to tie-in, Boa comes loose occasionally during riding

  • Boot Size:  Go 1 size up!

Experience:   Good boot for strength and quality, but disappointed in the way it fits. I'm a 8.5 and that's the size I bought, but after strapping in and going up the hill, it doesn't fit true to size. Felt fine when I tried it on but I never ratched down the Boa Lacing or pulled on the strings on the boot liner. So basically I'm saying I should have gone with the next whole size up to get the correct fit. Overall, I am satisfied with the appearance and quality of the boot. But my next pair won't be a Boa Lacing System. It's just too overrated and you have to occasionally retighten your boot throughout the day. I never had to retighten my boots (unless I wanted to) with conventional boot laces.

when im wearing them the boa never comes loose i even tried to loosen them with my hands and they wouldnt. also i think u should go a half size down when purchasing them because i originaly bought a size eleven because i also herd that they fit small but i had to go back and get a 9.5 (im a 10)
