The Stairmaster originated as a board discounted out of the box that was smaller, wider, softer and designed for maneuverability around the park. The ride-ability of this series has become legendary in relation to the price tag, and the overwhelming demand for these boards resulted in us scaling the series into seven sizes with two wide models for 07/08.
"In case you were wondering, this is a CAPiTA snowboard. I designed the base graphic to avoid any confusion as to what type of snow - board I'm riding. This way when someone asks you what kind of board you have you can talk less and just point to the base. This will give you more time to snowboard. The top sheet graphic is very personal to me. I put a bunch of stuff from my journal all over it. I love celebrities and pretty girls but I?ve always wondered if they ever get sick of being pretty or sick of being cool. I get sick of everything but that?s because I'm a miserable person. Just kidding! Seriously, I'm super happy and well adjusted. Anyway, enough about me? I think these boards are fantastic. They handle real good in the air. I'm talking like 30,000 feet air. Remember sky surfing? That stuff was crazy. I gotta try that. Snowboarding is a beautiful art form and makes life worth living. She's just a pretty girl. Ride or die." Love, Corey Smith This board can do it all, it is a shred machine. I have the last years extreme and it can handle anything I throw at it. From the pow to the park this board can rock your socks off. It is super lightweight , its a true twin and most of all it is super steezy. You can butter anything on this. Always remember capita doesnt make jet fighters so you should buy this. -Ride A Capita Terrain Uses

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Terrain Use: Jumps, Boxes and Rails, All Mountain
Pros: poppy, Popular model, Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand
Cons: Low quality
Other Thoughts: the only thing iam worried about it the topsheet delamenating, but at this price its worth the risk!
8/28/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: stiffer mid - for jumps!
true twin - for switch!
soft nose and tail - for presses!
extruded base - easy fix!
mid-wide - stability on rails! no toe drag!
Cons: I may spend more time with it than my girlfriend
Other Thoughts: Picked another one up last season after some real considerate pre-teen angsty jacko stole mine. The story gives me something to read on the lift, and I've had more than a couple people get taken out by the chair when they're trying to read it... Classic. I'm 6'0", 185lbs, and size 11 boot, this 156 is my fave stick. Never ever gotten chatter. And at this price? what you waiting for?
7/13/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: This board rides really well. Great flex. Looks good for the first 5 minutes before it delams. Can do anything IMO! Ive taken this down heeps of runs and its been awesome. e
Cons: Delamed in 5 minutes. I ripped the topsheet off and is woodgrain and looks really cool. Awaiting for a new board from
Capita as we speak.
Other Thoughts: Some people say this is just a jib board but ive used it around the mountain and its killed it.
It delamed which is just crap. But Capita is sending me a new board.
6/28/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: Great Board. Feels good, perfect flex
Cons: The top sheet delaminated after 10 mins of riding. By the end of the day half of the tails top sheet had delaminated and the nose's top sheet was completely delaminated.
Other Thoughts: good board apart for the top sheet.
3/24/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: Well heres the deal. If your looking for a board that is super buttery and uber-fun to ride around and turn the whole mountain into your own park, this board is for you. JIBBERS, JIB YOUR LITTLE HEARTS OUT!!!!!!!!! And hit every rail, bonk, and box in your way.
Cons: I could say, "well this board doesnt handle well at high speeds and its a bit chattery, and dont buy this if you plan on riding feet of POW!!!!!!!" BUT HELLO IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS BOARD DONT YOU KNOW ITS NOT AN ALL-MOUNTAIN BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!
Other Thoughts: KICKASS!!!!!!!! SWEET FLEX AND AWSOME FOR ANY JIBBER!
1/15/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: The CAPiTA stairmaster is one of the best sticks I have ever shredded in my life. This board can kill it no matter where you take it. I take mine in the pow and on the groomers and it still rocks my socks. The flex pattern is sick and helps to butter anything and everything and its super lightweight makes it super easy to spin. This board is definately a park killer with its centered stance and true twin shape.
Cons: It is a little unstable at high speeds but it makes up for it in the jib department
1/14/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: Capita took last years stairmaster and improved it. They kept a similar design. This board performs on rails, and is meant to be used in the park. A team favorite, the stairmaster helps your riding on all the jibs.
Cons: The pop may wear down after you have ridden this board for a long period of time.
Other Thoughts: Great board but don't buy for riding the mountain. It is park centered and you will be disappointed (if you use it for all mountain).
