Sierra Says: Over the past decade, the Twin has earned itself the title as one of the most popular freestyle boards in the industry. A medium-soft flex, true twin shape, and sintered base all contribute to this boards popularity among park enthusiasts. While really anybody can ride the Twin, it will mostly be appreciated by the rider that exploits everything the park has to offer, from the biggest jumps to the most technical jibs.

Burton Says: Mikey Rencz and his Twin have this super weird connection- like they always know what the other one is thinking. Whether raining hammers deep in the backcountry or keeping it "mellow" off the lifts at Whistler, this duo shreds better together. As if their connection couldn't be closer, this year they're both enjoying the mind-altering connectivity of the Channel for unlimited stance options with any Burton binding.

Sierra says: "The Twin is one of the most fun and responsive freestyle boards. This board is great all over the mountain whether you are hitting the progression park to advanced park to even the natural hits along the runs. Want a sick park-freestyle board that is still fast and versatile? Well look no further because the Twin is just that. Step up your tricks with a board that you will find yourself not wanting to part with."

Burton says: Freestyle assault and battery. Initiate all-out freestyle warfare with the Twin, a mid wide legend in the making. The Park Fly core is designed to be soft where you want it, burly where you need it, and super light all-around. Infinite Ride, extra-strength 10:45 sidewalls, and new Dual Density Triax join forces to give this weapon eternal life. Between the banger graphics and the bulletproof chassis, you've got everything needed to make peace with the park's dark side.

"Wish I had a TWIN of this baby :)" 2/5/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Twin
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, poppy, Popular model, Great value, Soft, Well known brand

Experience:   This is an AMAZING board! I picked it up from sierra after being somewhat disappointed by my previous 08 Burton Blunt Primo. I rocked this board with 08 Cartels and 08 Freestyle boots. First things first, this board looks AMAZING! Got tons of compliments on the lift and on the moutain. The conditions were a little icy (Easy Coast), but with freshly groomed snow. I first took it a few runs down some blacks, which it handled perfectly edge-to-edge, and was great for buttering. I then took this baby to the park! This board spun wonderfully, much better in comparison to the Blunt Primo. I tried a few rails, never caught an edge. The pop on this board is great, its soft, yet not a complete noodle. PLUS now sierra is having an amazing sale! If you are a intermediate to expert freestyler who likes to do everything, pick this board up, you will NOT be disappointed.

"Kick ass board" 3/4/2008
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Twin
  • Pros:  Killer graphics and versatility of the board. Perfect for all around park/groomer riding.
  • Cons:  Would prefer this to be a little bit stiffer and, considering it's a park board, the EST system would've been nice to have on this.

Experience:   Overall, a great board for the novice to skilled rider. You can take this board on the trails, parks and pretty much wherever you want to go.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Twin
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Strong edgehold, Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand

Experience:   Definetly a board you can ride the whole mountain with. Really easy to ride. Flexible enough to be fun but not so much so you cant ride it hard down the mountain. I get complements everywhere on it. Light and poppy, really easy to get it off the ground.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Twin Second
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Durable, Easy to carve, poppy, Strong edgehold, Great value

Experience:   The Twin is an excellent board to start on. It is forgiving as well as flexible. It provides a good mix between carving down the mountain and taking your first kicker or box. I wish that the topsheet was more durable. E

"It was this or a rocker" 6/30/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Twin
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Durable, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Great value, Soft
  • Cons:  Heavy

Experience:   I don't know whether it's the custom bindings or the board, but the combo seem pretty heavy to me. I would prefer a lighter park board. I was worried about the flex not being rocked out, but it seems to flex amazing and seems to have more stability on rails than a board with a rocker shape.

  • Name: 2009 Burton Twin
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, lightweight, Great value
  • Cons:  Too stiff, Sluggish

Experience:   The Burton twin is a super fun board but I wouldn't pay full price though. It's super light and spins like no other. Best use is for a progressing rider who's not concerned about going fast. It's semi-wide and easy to ride. Great all around board. Good for park but a little bit on the stiff side.. Not so great at high speeds.

"The Twin is a great park board" 1/22/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2008 Burton Twin
  • Pros:  Nice flex and super fun board to ride. The Burton twin is a great park board that can also handle the rest of the mountain. The park fly 2 core is designed with park riding in mind. The twin is super fun to ride.
  • Cons:  This board doesn't feature Burton's new EST system, so it has just the normal 3D hole pattern, The graphics on it this year aren't the greatest but it you like the whole skull thing thats great.

Experience:   Board is just fin to ride, get one you wont be disappointed.
