Sierra Says: Riding a T6 down a steep groomed run is like opening up a Ferrari on the Autobahn. This is easily Burton's fastest, most aggressive snowboard and will go toe to toe with the meanest boards on the market. The secret behind the madness lies primarily in the Alumafly Core, which entails an aluminum honeycomb technology to create a lightweight, yet crazy strong feel. The Triax Response fiberglass and deep sidecut provide the quick edge-to-edge control, while the Stainless Steel Pressure Distribution Edges and Multizone EGD dramatically increase edgehold when laying hard lines on steep terrain. The blistering fast Sintered N2O WFO base is the icing on the cake and gives this board its fluid character. The T6 will be best enjoyed by the advanced rider with a love for high speeds, sharp turns, and steep gradients.

Burton Says: By pairing the precision-milled chassis of an Alumafly core with the underfoot suspension of Smooth Ride, the T6 allows Terje and Nicolas Muller to fly faster and higher with more control and finesse. Power through crud, accelerate up transitions, thread the needle of insanity with F1 precision- this is the ultimate high-octane scream machine. Now upgraded with the Channel for seamless connectivity and limitless stance adjustability with any Burton binding.

"What kind of a title fits a board like this one?" 9/20/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton T-6
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Fast, Durable, Light
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   If you're an Advanced rider who likes to go for anything (Except the park) with a lot of speed and hight, the T6 is a obvious choice! It is invincible at the groomers with the WFO-base and light weight. The honeycomb tech. makes sure of durability. I've done sevral runs over rocks and simular when riding Freeride, but not ONE mark has appeared on my base. The only disadvantage is that you can no longer blame your equipment.

"T6" 11/6/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton T-6
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Light weight feel,
  • Cons:  Not a park basher,

Experience:   My T6 if a few years old, meaning mine is supposed to be a bit stiffer (more advanced) than today's T6. Last year I took a bunch of my old collage friends riding who haven't ridden seriously in years. I let them try my T6 for a few runs thinking it would be a bit too advanced for them, but they wanted to see what a pricy board would feel like. They both instantly noticed a huge positive difference. It was just easier to ride all around. They had some pretty legit equipment too, an old Burton Canyon and something else. I was surprised they still were fighting to ride my T6. Now that the new T6 is made slightly softer it opens up to an even larger crowd. I’m sure Burton meant this board to be your third board, but from that experience wouldn’t be phased to recommend it as your 2nd board. As an advanced rider I like the board because it lets me ride a longer board (for more stability) but still have the feel of a short board for maneuverability. Its not even that it is a crazy light board (which it is), after all once you get snow on top of it you’ve just added weight, but the nose and tail are designed so light that it feels light to swing it around whether in the air or on the ground. That light feel is much more noticeable than the actual ounces it beats the other boards with. Only draw back is I get nervous when I hit the rails with it. Not that I don’t take it on the rails, but I don’t want to push it and accidentally damage the honeycomb construction. Other than that, highly recommended.

"Super fun deck" 10/8/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton T-6
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Light, very fast, quick edge to edge

Experience:   (2008)insane pipe board and really stable at high speeds. Ended up breaking the board on a rock that would have snapped most decks, patched it back up and rode until it delamed. Super nice ride while it lasted, would do it again if I had the money!
