Likes: I have been riding burton for the last 13 years. I have used the boards bindings boots, clothing, and acc. and never a problem once. All products have been dependable and strong. The outerwear and thermals always keep me warm and dry. Socks wick moisture away and keep my feet warm. Plan to update my board and bindings this year with the joystick and cartel est bindings.

Dislikes: not a thing....most ppl say the price but to ride the best you will have to pay...

Likes: love burton gear.. have a clash and missions and love them.. burton is the highst standerd in snowboarding period.

Likes: Basically the standard in snowboarding. You can never go wrong with Burton gear.

Likes: Burton has been there from the beginning. Jake Burton is one of the first people on the planet to strap himself onto a single board and shoot down the mountain (after developing the snowboard from a Snurfer). Personally, I like that the largest (pure) snowboarding company in the world is still privately held. Its decisions are made by the ownership. I also enjoy the quality of their gear and think it is worth the extra $40-$80. Frankly, most companies are now selling their boards at a $400-$600 clip. Burton has maintained an integrated and developmental relationship with the sport of snowboarding. Their products have continued to revolutionize the sport throughout it’s 30+ year history. As for quality, I have owned Burton products (and many others, I can assure you) for the majority of my snowboarding career. Not once have I experienced a quality issue with their products. Were I to eventually experience a flaw or exception to this, I am comforted in knowing that their warranty is tried and true.

Dislikes: I dislike the way people disrespect a quality brand by saying it isn’t core (usually misconceptions about starting and operating a brand) or it’s too expensive. Believe me, EVERYONE is out there to make money. True, they love the sport too. You have to, in order to be successful. But, if they weren't out to make money, they'd be giving away free snowboards to everyone, in order to subsidize YOUR hobby. If you think there's a brand out there that is a charity, think again. My guess is the only reason people complain about the price, is because they're eager to get the new gear. Otherwise, it wouldn't really be a problem and you would just purchase other gear, right? Having said that; I am not too fond of Burton’s Sig Fit attire. And, I will second some motions that their low-end bindings (and some boots too) are not typical of the rest of their product line. I am, however, typically a believer of you get what you pay for in most sporting goods. Research and product development is not cheap.

Likes: Burton makes some of the highest quality snowboards on the market

Dislikes: DO NOT BUY ACCESORIES from burton. they outsource and rip you off with their prices --the clothing is more about the look than the functionality :( (the burton poacher pants/jacket is nothing more than a interior layer of mesh and a very thin layer of polyester, yet costs 150)

Likes: Burton is definitely the most popular brand in snowboarding and there are many reasons why. They've been around practically since the beginning and have built a reputation for offering a wide selection of innovative, stylish products.

Dislikes: Their top end products are very expensive and from experience it seems like a lot of their lower end products are made poorly. The zipper on a jacket I had broke within a week and a pair of gloves I had were falling apart after just a few months of using them because the stitching was done terribly. Apart from those I have had some quality products from Burton.

Likes: Theres some great quality gear from Burton, their boots are quite durable and they have some pretty decent boards.

Dislikes: However most of it is way overpriced IMO and they just milk the fact that loads of people just buy because of the brand name that they have created over the years.

Likes: Burton is the shit. Period.

Likes: I like everything about them. There is a reason that they are the most expensive, they generally make the best stuff. Everything I ride in and on is made by burton. I have tried the rest and they are by far the best. My favorite thing about them is the 3 types of cuts for for soft gear. If you want baggy and long, short and slim, or somewhere in the middle they got ya.

Dislikes: Some of thier gear isnt as nice as they would lead on, like gloves, luggage, and anon goggles. Quit complaining about the price people, if its too expensive dont buy it, and get somthing else

Likes: Best gear on the mountain, period...

Dislikes: Can get really expensive sometimes, but it will be worth it.

Likes: Good products. I own boxers, customs, and a punch and have been very happy with my setup.

Likes: Love Burton most people say its just because of the name but i think they earned the name they have.

Likes: Amazing quality bindings. Great Outerwear. Innovative boards. Company thats been in the snowboard industry since the beginning. Over all a legit company.

Dislikes: Over priced, Boards have more defects than other companies boards do to mass production. The hole 3 hole insert bindings and ICS tech is more or less making you have to buy burton bindings also.

Likes: Burton has everything you need for snowboarding. From boards to socks, they are the god of snow. Quality products for those looking for tough built snowboard gear. I own alot of gear from Burton and I'm sold.

Dislikes: Some stuff is pricey.

Likes: Burton is a popular band and great quslity gear so I say you are geating what you pay for.

Likes: Burton is one of my favorite companys if anyone if looking at there new ICS system get it. I own and ICS board and its so easy to change up you stances it give you better flex.

Dislikes: I have nothing bad to say about burton

Likes: Burton has a wide variety of products from park to powder and beginner to expert. I guess the only thing they are missing is a really soft park board, but the hero can qualify maybe. When the 2010 stuff comes out though, they will easily have the best or one of the best selections. Their new ICS and EST system is very beneficial to most riders. The stuff is quality made and has a great warranty. They also have been known to be one of the most durable products. Also their boots seem to fit my feet well.

Dislikes: Burton products tend to be a little more expensive than other brands, especially for beginner products, and boards. Also Burton is one of the only brands people know, so it tends to be overrated. It has a whole rage with it.

Likes: Burton always brings the best quality to the table, no matter the product. You are absolutely positive that once you buy a Burton product, it can be used for years to come. Even the most aggresive freestyle riders can rock and enjoy Burton gear without being afraid of ripping, chipping, or any other damage.

Dislikes: There are also a few cons. First off, the prices can be somewhat ridiculous. Thirty dollars for a simple logo tee? Second, there isn't too wide of a gear selection. Third, they are extremely overrated. Burton snowboard company is now a household term. All around they make great quality product though.

Likes: The quality of their products is great and their warranty services are even better. Their ICS/EST board/bindings setups are great!

Dislikes: Price. Not the best bang for your buck.

Likes: You get what you pay for. Their top line gear is next to none.

Dislikes: They are everywhere on the mountain. Top line stuff can be a little costly.

Likes: Awesome graphics and great gear, info on the products can be easily found with plenty of reviews information at your fingertips, just gotta google it!

Dislikes: A bit more expensive than other brands but with new innovations and constantly keeping with up with competitors it's probably one of the best brands to buy into, especially if your new to the game as there is heaps to look up about the products!

Likes: love burton. it has cool grapics,warm clothes, and comfy boots and bindings.

Likes: people usually either love or hate this brand. the reason? they're the industry standard. burton is a huge company, so naturally, there are a larger number of detractors that dislike the brand for being 'overrated'. but i'd say that they are the brand that they are not just because they are a corporate marketing machine, but because the do in fact make quality products.

Dislikes: on the other side of the coin, don't let yourself be blinded by the name. just because something is a burton doesn't mean its awesome - do your research. even the best companies can't put out 100% gold ALL the time.

Likes: Burton stuff is great. Not only is it well known, but all their equipment is made from quality materials. I own Burton Cargo Pants, and Burton Hails. Both are great.

Dislikes: A bit expensive at retail price, but that isn't a problem on Sierra Snowboard.

Likes: I have a pink jacket from Burton and it's absolutely adorable! It's warm and slique and sexy!

Likes: Quality: Top of the Line everything in Snowboarding. Their snowboards to their clothing are always top notch in quality because they spare no expense in making the best product. You pretty much can not go wrong in buying a Burton brand in whatever snowboard gear you are looking for. Choices: Huge choice of snowboards and gear to fit your individual need and price. Innovation: From clothing design to snowboard design Burton always pushed the envolope in fashion, design, and quality products.

Dislikes: The downside to wanting and getting the best is paying for it through the nose. Burton is definitely have the most expensive line of snowboards and snowboard gear around. Good thing though is that Burton carries a wide range of gear that fits whatever your price range is.

Likes: Burton always makes quality products and their warranty rocks. Never been disappointed with any burton products I've purchased. They're always coming out with some new technology it seems like every year and they have a wide selection for pretty much anything related to snowboarding. People love to hate on burton for some reason, but this brand is number one for a reason.

Dislikes: Price can be a bit expensive.

Likes: BURTON is my favorite brand, not only do they make great bindings, boards, but also socks, beanies, and jackets. Loving the logo, the brand name, and the prestige that comes with BURTON!

Dislikes: It is expensive, but if you shop on sierra, they have great deals!

Likes: Liked there boards. bindings were nice. Pants work great.

Dislikes: top sheet on my burton baron scratched way too easily. such a common board that it got stolen at the mountain

Likes: I've been riding and wearing Burton gear since 1992. Whether it's on the slopes or at the bar afterwards you can't go wrong by purchasing Burton. From tuning gear to the gear you tune. They put tons of money and time into development. Rider input. R&D. Testing. I have even had a few issues. I broke a cascade and when I call them all they said was mail it in and we'll get you a new one. Broke the top sheet on another one and they said its good structurally so ride it out the rest of the year. Send it in and we'll send you next years board. Great service. Weather you're a noob or a pro you can find what you need with burton.

Dislikes: Box sets. I hate seeing all the matching pants, jackets, beanies, boards and bindings. Leave that to bruce and dottie.

Likes: Innovative, cutting edge, industry driving and these guys invented the damn sport. W48 rocks and product line is never ending.

Dislikes: QA is a little sloppy at times and I hate when companies use proprietary connections. A little pricey at times... actually all the time unless you buy it here. :)

Likes: They have been there since the day it all began. No one else has changed the game and brought snowboarding to where it is today like they have. They are always trying to progress as a company and bring out better gear year after year.

Dislikes: You want the best you have to pay for the best. The price tag can be much, but thanks to sierra we can get them at a much better deal than anywhere else.

Likes: large selection of products to suit anyone and their riding style. make every product that is needed to snowboard. reliable and the most well known name in snowboarding. they make very high quality bindings in my opinion

Dislikes: Their lower end beginner gear isn't that great and for the price other brands make a better product

Likes: Burton seems over rated to a lot of people but its actually an amazing brand. People don't like it just because everybody knows about it. They make quality gear for the best of the best. That doesn't always mean that it's the cheapest but it's still amazing!

Likes: Burtons just seem to fit whatever style riding I'm into. Whether it's boots, bindings, or boards they always seem to provide a level of quality that I have not found with any other brand, and I have tried a lot of different brands. You'll feel the difference right from the start.

Dislikes: The clothing is a bit pricey, but the boards are well worth it.

Likes: What can I say that hasn't already been said? When you think of snowboarding, you think of Burton. They make some of the best gear out there.

Likes: Burton is the juggernaut of the Snowboard Ind. They make everything your heart will ever want. I have owned many pairs of Boots and Bindings from Burton. For the most part they are good. Never any problems with the products.

Dislikes: Very overpriced for a overseas job. Not always the best quailtiy either, your really paying for the name (well logo or Shaun Whites sponsership haha).

Likes: I got last years Custom ICS and EST Cartels, couldn't be happier with them. Going to purchase a Hero or Fix, I want to try out the scoop nose and tail.

Dislikes: They are pricey, but so is Nike, Fender, DW drums, a Corvette, Harley Davidson, you get what you pay for. Other people just hate because other companies are not inovative enough to change what's always been done.

Likes: People keep going on and on about how Burtons corporate, blah blah blah and stuff like that. There is a REASON Burton is so popular! They make quality stuff! I personally own two burton boards, two bindings, and one boot. ALL of which are too my liking. Plus, their gear usually looks super sexy :)

Dislikes: My only complaint about Burton is their 3-d binding holes, but they come with compatible disks and stuff so its not a huge deal.

Dislikes: Price. If you are going to buy a burton board that retails for 379 or less you are better off buying a different brand. Because you burton puts in great features for boards that are 400 or over.

Likes: Burton the creator of snowboarding. i love all the gear i buy from burton. I know i'm getting quality gear to help me ride better and stay dry while riding in any condition. I own Burton custom board, co2 binding, Ion boots with quick laces, and two piece AK burton outerwear that zip in together.

Likes: I've owned burton Hails, Freestyle bindings, couple of jackets, thermals, tuning equipment and much more by burton and they make top of the line products that are reliable and do the job on the mountain.

Dislikes: Nothing whatsoever

Likes: Really good quality gear, I own burton clothing, bindings, boots, outerwear, and I love everything about it, Burton puts out some good quality stuff, they are really into customer service and they are the # 1 brand in all of snowboarding.

Dislikes: Nothing except for the fact that your paying a tad bit more for the burton name and reputation.

Likes: Burton's an innovative company that's always raising the bar when it comes to snowboarding, in my opinion. Their gear is usually high quality, and they have some of the best stuff out there. Their warranty program is top notch, which I know from personal experience.

Dislikes: Burton gear can be relatively expensive. Their proprietary tech (eg. 3D hole pattern and ICS/EST) are sometimes incompatible and clash with other brands, forcing you to buy only Burton products or forcing other companies to abide by unnecessary new standards.

Likes: They make quality gear if you buy their higher end products. Im not a big fan and I dont really like Burton gear that much.

Dislikes: Lower end stuff is just crap. Everybody has Burton gear and for a lot of people its the only brand that they own. In my opinion, there is better stuff out there.

Likes: great company i own a burton belt and burton boots and am very happy with both of the things , burton is a great company

Likes: I've got a pair of Gor-Tex gloves and they work fantastically. I love to board/ski when it is as cold as possible (i.e. less people on the slopes) and I used to have to wear minimum 2 pair of gloves. With these, I have yet to have a problem even when the wind chill was -22 degrees last February. Also, I'm about to try out their warranty program for the first time so I'm hoping that goes well.

Likes: My top three likes of burton snowboards: I have yet to ride a board that holds an edge at high speeds like a burton snowboard. They make my all time favorite malolo. Their Ion boots are the only boot that holds my heel down using their speed lacing system. The toe cap strap that holds your boot snug. Innovative and all around solid gear...

Likes: Burton's new EST is absolutely amaziing. with the Channel that goes down the board for the binding to be attached, and the low profile of the bindings, you are basically inside the board. when you think, the board goes. absolutely awesome. they have a boot board and binding for every aspect of snowboarding. Dislikes: Burton is almost too popular. but its not necessarily a bad thing, i just dont like having the same stuff as everyone else. it also means that their stuff WORKS

Likes: Burton, without a doubt, makes the biggest variety of gear. Not only that but Burton also steps up their quality every year, and are the innovaters of snowboarding. They have some of the smoothest riding snowboards ive ridden and they also put a lot of tech into their boards as well. When it comes to boots they always have a comfortable and supportive fit. Without Burton where would snowboarding be today?

Likes: When it comes to great selection and style, Burton beats it by a lot. They have, by far, the largest amount of products that we carry in the store and I think its a fun idea how they associate their shirt designs with their board designs. Also, clothes like their travel sleeper are very unique and make it fun to wear them.

Likes: Without a doubt, Burton does not sit on its butt when it comes to improving and innovating. Even though they're the big dog, they do a great job at pouring back into the sport of snowboarding like smaller companies without getting the credit for it.

Dislikes: Burton's tech always continues to flow down to the lower models each year, so it always makes you want to buy the most current year's stuff. It's like Apple's iPod.

Likes: With every company you'll have lovers and haters. Burton does have it's fair share of both. But in my humble opinion I think they have and still do make products that are great in quality. From innovative boards and bindings, comfortable boots, and stylish cloths they do it all. They are also backed by a seriously great customer service team if you have any equipment issues.

Dislikes: prices are higher than most companies, but you still get great gear for what you pay for

Likes: The industry standard,,, great bindings, boots, boards and the AK outerwear is unreal. Personally, I think Burton boards hold up better than other brands I've owned(Rome, Palmer, LIB) WFO base on the high end sticks is blindingly fast and holds wax well. Top-notch warranty service that will NOT let riders down. They absoutely stand by their products.

Dislikes: Prices are high on some items(AK + boards), but basically, you get what you pay for...

Likes: Above the rest, I love Burton Boots. In my opinion they are they best fitting boots out of the box and have a very consistent line. The Bindings are super comfy and lightweight and the boards ride amazingly. Although I do support smaller companies in the industry, I feel Burtons quality, technology, and innovation is hard to beat.

Likes: I’m one of those Burton haters who dislikes them because they’re such a huge company. It’s one of those brands people feel safe buying and presume it’s an amazing product because BURTON made it! ok ok, I do actually like Burton, I’m just rooting for the underdogs! I really love Burton socks, I have 7 pairs now, one for each day of the week :-)

Dislikes: Bindings I have previously owned, and the Burton Troop which I previously owned. its been a while since I've been on a Burton - maybe it would help me become a believer if i tried it out again. but I'm always skeptical. Their high end products are supposedly very good, but lower end... not-so-muuuuuch.

Likes: Who loves Burton gloves? I love Burton gloves. They are the most durable and reliable gloves I've had. With their cozy fleece liners my hands are protected from the cold! ... and I can build a snowman without my hands getting chilly. Score!

Likes: Burton often gets hated on simply because they're such a large company and have a huge name, but overall I don't have any actual complaints about their product. I own three pair of bindings from them (c60, P1 and Escapade) and couldn't ask for anything more. From everyone that I've heard that's dealt with their warranty program, they've never had a complaint. With the 24 hour turn-around, I'm not sure if you could go wrong!

Likes: - Quality gear - Heritage, Jake Burton's been at it from the beginning and he's still riding - All star team (that's what dollars and brand recognition amount to)

Dislikes: - You'll pay a bit more for Burton compared to other brands (the marketing funds have to come from somewhere right?)
