Sierra Says: The Shaun White boot just keeps getting better. This boot has a supportive feel, fit-enhancing traditional laces, and shrinkage technology. Also, they have now added an articulating cuff for a smoother flex and more durable design. We feel this boot works best for an intermediate or advanced all-mountain freestyle rider with average to narrow feet.

Burton Says: Loaded with Shaun's new favorite features, this year's boot is all-new and entirely upgraded. Shrinkage removes bulk (and weight) to eliminate excess toe and heel drag while the NEW articulating cuff allows for a smoother forward flex. The NEW hybrid cushioning system blends monster truck-caliber shock absorption with go-kart style response. Even the smell is fresh thanks to the stench sucking power of Aegis antimicrobial coating.

Sierra says: You might not be able to ride like Mr. White, but with these boots you will at least have a fighting chance. Built with Shaun?s own special recipe of support, flex, and feel, the 2009 Shaun boot is ready to handle anything and everything. Traditional laces give you the most control of the fit and the new Supercuff Heel Hold system ensures you stay in your boots after stomping a huge booter. Pick up a pair of Shauns and watch your skills elevate.

Burton says: It?s gotta be the boots. Triple-overhead spins in the superpipe? Switch-backside 1080?s in the park? They may not be in your bag of tricks, but that doesn?t mean you can?t use the added performance. A 30% lighter NOTRUB outsole helps Shaun fly higher, with the Power Spine 1.0 Backstay supporting him when it?s time to throw down the landing gear. The Golden One demands a lot from his boots, and they?re built to his demands. We doubt yours are much different.

  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11 chucks

Experience:   very well cushioned boot, kept my feet warm and dry during a craptastic storm in bear,ca. subtle design, not too outlandish. you might have to size up a bit when choosing a show size with these ones cause it have lots of cushion compared to my flow boots. if i bump into the newer versions of this boot, i'd give it a try.

"Excellent Boots for the price" 1/15/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2007 Burton Shaun White
  • Pros:  The Shaun White is a comfortable boot with a smooth flex but with a high level of responsiveness! Imprint 3 Liners reduce the amount of "packing out" in these boots. This means less heel-lift and more control. This is a great boot for any riding style.
  • Cons:  There weren't many flaws or complaints about this boot. There was a limited color selection. It also seemed a little more difficult to remove the liners after boarding.

Experience:   For the price and the fit, you can't go wrong with this boot! Highly recommended!
