Foot Shape: Average to Wide
Flex: Rate 6 The Burton Ruler is known to rule the entire mountain. It is a very good boot for all-mountain riders looking for a forgiving comfortable ride. The Ruler has Burtons new streamlined speed zone lacing system for some quick lace adjustment. Burton also added a micro articulating cuff that allows the upper and lower zones to flex independently. The Ruler is a very good boot for any rider looking to get an awesome boot and also save a couple of bucks. If you demand value, check these boots out. No Burton boot offers as much support for the money. The Burton Ruler Boot is a classic boot. These boots are designed for all-mountain riders, who need a supportive boot. Try these boots on; I guarantee that you will love them. Great burton boots and at this price why resist. Go ahead an add them to the cart you know you want to. -Ride A Capita Terrain Uses

Other Thoughts: Bought these for $50! Great boot for all-around usage. It has a good medium flex to it. Not too stiff, not too soft.
I would def buy another pair of these.

Other Thoughts: I like the Ruler it keeps my heels in place. The speed lace is nice. Only problem is with my brick shape feet the sides start to hurt by the end of the day.
7/1/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: I love them! As with a lot of burton stuff it hasnt proven to be the longest-lasting gear, but I guess Im in the position as an instructor where my gear takes a thrashing every winter from seeing so much time on snow. Not the stiffest, slimmest or lightest boot out there but performs well and comfy as hell! Or maybe its just the shape of my foot.. Anyway, I thought I was getting a deal at half price, then I checked on your site after it arrived and you dropped it even lower to 70% off! Best deal out there for decent boots for $60, Im considering getting another pair since mine are pretty shredded. Always getting comments when others see the rasta stripes along the bottom.
Cons: sometimes gets some moisture inside on wet days (or hot and sweaty days).
Stitching unravelled around the toes on the shell, well, actually it was prob somewhat due to resting the board edge on the back foot, so this boot is particularly prone to this.
Other Thoughts: Cheers for all the great work at making gear affordable (and free) for those who seek (or enter your contests).
Booyakasha!!!
