Sierra Says: The industry’s newest ultra-premium snowboard, the Method is the plushest ride available. With this board, Burton used 33 years of research, development, trial, error, trial again, innovation, and evolution to produce a snowboard unlike anything ever created. Instead of fiberglass, the Method is held together by an all new S2 carbon composite that boasts 30% more strength than fiberglass, but with 25% less weight. Instead of steel edges, the Method is wrapped with a titanium alloy and backed with Multizone EGD for unsurpassed edgehold and control. The heart of this beast is the new Alumasuperfly core, which is built with a NASA-grade aluminum honeycomb material combining the ultimate blend of strength and weightlessness. What about the base? The new Methalon N2O WFO Base is constructed with Teflon, one of the slickest materials known to man. All in all, the Method is an incredibly lightweight yet rock solid all-mountain snowboard. Not too aggressive, the only requirements for this one are the ability to turn comfortably and a taste for the finer things in life.

Experience: I just picked up this burton method at a burton demo sale. It is by far the lightest board I have ever seen in my entire life. I also picked up a custom v-rocker and this burton method is atleast 50% of the weight. The top sheet cannot scratch as it is not made of plastic shiny stuff like typical boards. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet but i am really looking forward to it. It is a gorgeous board that turned a lot of heads as soon as I purchased it. Maybe I am actually going to sell it by virtue of it being a super advanced board, and I am beginner/intermediate. But i think it'll be a quiver killer for anybody that rides it. I'll update this review when I actually get to ride the board!

Experience: I tried this board last year at the burton demo day at Stratton with C60 bindings. This board is super fast and feels like it barely touches the snow. Doesn't really have graphix but the brushed metal look is hot.
