Sierra Says: The Lip-Stick is a super enjoyable, all-mountain freestyle board. The V-Rocker shape and softer flex will give you the edge when turning tricks in the park, but also give you control when cruising the rest of the resort. Although you might see many top riders strapping into the Lip-Stick this season, you do not need to be queen of the mountain to ride this board' all you need is some basic riding skills and a love for fun.

  • Pros:  Soft Flex, Great maneuverability, All around fun ride
  • Cons:  A bit on the soft side for high speed riding, A bit soft for larger jumps,

Experience:   I rode this board at a demo last season and quickly fell in love. I am not much of a freestyle rider by any means, but felt that my freestyle would progress immensely if I continued riding this board. With the V Rocker, it's very nimble and quick, making for super easy butters and presses. This would be a great board for anyone who is either just stepping into the freestyle realm, or who just wants to progress it to the next level. I'm very tempted to pick one up to further progress my freestyle riding.

Experience:   Bought my Lip-Stick in mid-Jan '10 and have ridden in all conditions/situations -- power, groomers, slush, tress, and ice. Performs well in all situations. Love how responsive it is and it's so easy to ride switch and get air. This has become my go to board, leaving my Never Summer Infinity and Burton Malolo to gather dust. In short, awesome board - absolutely recommend to aspiring park riders and anyone looking for some off trail fun

Experience:   so i already wrote up a review for this board, read it! but i wanted to do a follow up review. i'm from jersey and after a freak occurrence this week i had the opportunity to ride this board in powder. OMG, i can easily say this board made me fall in love with the sport of snowboarding all over again. i felt no back leg strain, it just floated so effortlessly over the powder. i had such a blast riding this stick, all around fun ride. pick one up.

Experience:   This board is essay, fun, and a smooth riding board. I love it! For under $500 it's worth every penny! If your looking to get better in the park or just buttering around the Mt this is the board you want to be on this season. Don't be turned off by it's class as a free sty board...if you just like to cruse down the Mt and play a little here and there this is still the board your looking for. Well I hope I was a help. So don't think just enjoy it!!!

  • Pros:  super poppy , you can't catch an edge on this board, float in powder
  • Cons:  doesn't hold an edge very well on icy spots,

Experience:   After my first ride on the burton lipstick i must say that it was super playful and snowboard you can trust. it's super poppy for ollies, nollies, 180s and so on...i never got so high with any other board. it really surprised me in powder, even though i had a really wide and centered stance the snowboard was floating without any effort (good for your legs ;). doing small turns in deeper pow is really easy with this one. you can really trust it when you are doing tricks, i think i would have crashed hard sometimes with any other board, but with the rocker it is impossible to catch an ege... so it is suoer fun to learn new tricks on it. all in all i must say it the right decision to buy it, even though it didn't hold an edge on icy spots.
