"Awesome pair of gloves" 9/4/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  Fits very well, 100% waterproof,
  • Cons:  n/a,

Experience:   These gloves are great. They fit very well, I got a size M and they allow me to move my fingers freely, almost like I was just wearing a pair of latex gloves. They're warm but do not have too much insulation. The under linings are great as well. I climbed Half Dome and used them to go up the cables and they had the best grip on them. Can't go wrong with Goretex!

"toasty " 9/3/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  very warm, nice underglove, versatile
  • Cons:  ripped FIRST time worn, but burton replaced it,

Experience:   I like this glove for both style and comfort, but i question its quality considering my first pair ripped and my new pair already has some wear and tear, i would probably go with a different brand next time. I don't think burton puts as much emphasis on quality control with their gloves as they do with their boards.

"pretty good" 9/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  straightforward, waterproof, warm
  • Cons:  could be a bit tougher,

Experience:   Uncomplicated, waterproof and warm. For the money these gloves do a decent job against windchill and rain. They're reasonably durable and although after half a season mine are displaying a few signs of wear, they're still a touch dryer and perhaps slightly warmer than my faithfull Dakine Novas. There are stronger gloves on the market but at this price these are a good buy.

"Not that impressed" 8/5/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  Durable palm, velcro on the wrist keeps out most snow.
  • Cons:  I found that these rarely stayed "under". Cuffed gloves stay under my jacket better leaving me warmer and dryer. Liners are useless - they have a grip pattern on them which makes it almost impossible to get your hand into the glove while wearing the liner. If you want to use liners, take the next size up.

"nice and dry" 7/19/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  Kept the fingers nice and dry, even getting into some of slushy stuff Wrist strap is barely noticable
  • Cons:  dont know if its just the pair i got but the liners for this glove is pretty chad, i wouldnt wear em even if i was in dire need to. you can really feel the plastic mold edges cut into hand making it rather uncomfortable. My mate got the bruton pinncales and the inners for those were sweet as, not noticable pincing at all

Experience:   Great gloves for the price

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  i love how goretex just guarantees waterproofness. i've had these before and just got a new pair because my original's fingers started to fray.
  • Cons:  my hands never fit gloves properly. the palm's good but the fingers are too long for me... a little too tight with the funny fitting liner.

"Warm, well made but kind of small" 5/20/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  Construction similar to DaKine Titan with Gore Tex with both having an inner glove that can be worn separately. Good looking glove with rubberized inner palm and finger grip surface. Gore Tex waterproofing and warmth...good stuff.
  • Cons:  With the inner glove, it is a tight fit into the outer glove. Much tighter than my Dakine Titans in the same medium size and I consider my hands between a small and medium glove. If you're between medium and large definitely go for the large size.

Experience:   With the 70% off sale, you can't beat $20 for Gore Tex gloves.

"Great Deal for $20" 5/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2009 Burton Gore Tex Under
  • Pros:  Warm, comfortable, removable liners, zip vents, great price!
  • Cons:  Bulky, runs small

Experience:   It is a little bulky but I don't mind. It comes with removable liners so I'd recommend going a size up. I usually wear mediums and I got a large. I'm happy with my decision. Overall these are great gloves. For $20 i wouldn't pass these up. Great quality. Comes with removable liners so if it gets hot you can take them off. Great product!
