Sierra Says: The Freestyle is a timeless classic and continues to deliver every season. As the name suggests, this boot is ideal for freestyle riding- especially in the park and street. It has a soft flex and durable design and can work for any level of rider.

Burton Says: For those who lap the park non-stop, and expect a boot that does the same, look no further than the Freestyle. Kicking ass for longer than many competitors have been in the game, these kicks blend boned-out mobility, improved fit, and unstoppable stomping power into an ultra-light package. Basically, if you don't dig these, you might wanna start bladin' cause it don't get more comfortable than this.

"Freestyle " 5/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  SUPER COMFY, foot will not slip out going off of kickers,
  • Cons:  should have gotten an 11, need to size up, traditional lacing system
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   Alright first off this is a very comfy boot (after riding for 2 years on rentals) and it has nice grip on the toes for half pipe. Bad thing is i got a size 10.5 really should have gotten a 11 this boot does not seem the size its listed. Size up. So all in all this is a very solid boot for freestyle, and all mountain. definitely recommend it.

"Great boots" 5/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  true fit boots, super light , great price, they keep you dry
  • Cons:  not a speed lace system,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   Rate out of the box they were easy to jump into and have great feel like if they were allready broken in. The boots are a tru fit so you can get your normal shoue size in them. They are a littel soft but in return your legs wont burn out to quickley.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Forgiving flex, out of the box comfort,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   The Burton Freestyle is a great boot for anyone looking for out of the box comfort and med-soft flex. This boot is perfect for a beginner or intermediate who loves to ride the whole hill! The liner will pack out some so don't be nervous if they are a little snug.

"2009 Burton Freestyle" 1/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Warm, dry, traction, heel hold, price,
  • Cons:  Not for wide feet,
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10.5/11
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   Overall this is a great boot, and for the price who can complain. I got these when Sierra had them on sale for $75. I would definitely try them on before purchasing though. I normally wear a 10.5/11, but got an 11.5 in these boots. The 12's were a little too big, but the 11.5 is just a tiny bit snug in the toe area. It's like Goldilocks and the three bears with these things. I can say that once you get it right you will be happy. My feet stayed warm and dry all day. If you want to see how the boot is, just take a look at Sierra's Vid they have posted on youtube, showing you the articulating cuff in action.

"2009 Freestyle" 12/31/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Stay dry, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Don't hold my heal well, Slow in and out,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft, mid
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  12

Experience:   The soft shoe in the boot is really comfortable and didn't require any break-in time. Overall the boot is warm and stays dry and has a nice fit to it. For me the boot slips on my heal a little when I walk around, however, when I ride it holds great. Only regret is I wish I had spent a little more money to get boots that are always zipped, rather than having to do three hooks per side each time - it's a guaranteed slow down. Overall it's a good boot.

"Burton Freestyle" 6/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Bit too soft,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   It's an average boot but you get what you pay for. It's comfortable and good for the wider foot but a bit too flexy for my riding style. I like to ride hard and fast and I found that this boot just wasn't really giving me the support that I needed. Probably good if you're mainly riding park, but if you want to go all mountain or freeriding, get a stiffer boot.

"Pretty good" 6/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  Color!, flexible,
  • Cons:  I get a little arch pain,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   This is a pretty good boot, it breaks in pretty fast. I get some arch pain if I am riding in one position for a long time, like when on a catwalk. Price is good and it fits tight w/out having to crank down on the laces.

  • Name: 2010 Burton Freestyle
  • Pros:  True fit, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Little snug around toes,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I own the 2007 version of this boot, they are awesome. My feet feel snug in them, without cutting of the blood to my feet. They fit like a pair of shoes (size 11 means size 11) I use these boots all over the mountain, and you can't beat the price.
