Burton Says: No other board in history has had more influence on the progression of modern-day freestyle than the Custom. With Mads Jonsson, Heikki Sorsa, and Mason Aguirre at the controls, freestyle's future has never been brighter. As the shred crew continues to explore the outer limits of what's considered possible on a snowboard, the design crew continues to explore the outer limits of whats possible for the Custom. Now available in wide sizes for riders with bigger boots.
**The Burton Second is covered by Burton's warranty. The Burton Second meets 100% of Burton's manufacturing standards except for the graphical blemish on the top sheet, these Burton Seconds snowboards are brand new and are stamped second on the base. The Burton Seconds are a great deal and when you receive yours you will see that graphic blemish is small or hard to notice. Terrain Uses

Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Popular on mountain
Other Thoughts: Love this board, good for everything. Similar to the X but a little bit more flex and less edge hold.

Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand
Other Thoughts: I find it a bit stiff for ground tricks, but for everything else, it is an amazing board.
I do mostly jumps and some freeride, so i need the stiffness and stability the board gives.
I'm not too concerned with doing crabwalks or whatnot, so the stiffness isnt too much of an issue

Other Thoughts: Great board for all levels of rider, do anything, go anywhere!! I'm 6'1" 190 lbs. and I ride a 158, I find I could use a larger board in the pow but since I'm in the east it's not usually a problem.

Other Thoughts: Words don't do this board justice. Been riding on this board all season, and am more than impressed. I paired the board with some Flows that are a little on the heavy side, but the board itself is uber-light. The 10:45 sidewalls are a god-send: allow a shorter waist width which makes it 10x more responsive than my previous board, but gives me no toe-drag with my size 11 boot. All-around this board is the best I've ever owned, doing work just as well in the park as the backcountry. Its only weakness is in the deep-pow (compared to my past boards), but not anywhere near enough to make me think twice about charging through some freshies. Its got some nice pop to it, and a little on the stiffer side (which i prefer), and it handles awesome at Mach-2 (no chatter what-so-ever). If your on the fence, come to the greener side and get this board!

Other Thoughts: This is board is sick, not too stiff or soft, works well all over the mountain. Incredibly fast and hols a good edge, with easy transitioning. The site however is awesome. They have the best deals on the net not to mention the free giveaways and point system. Great board from a great site.

Other Thoughts: I got this board as an early christmas gift and I was thrilled when it arrived cross country in a week (For free no less) Was a bit skeptical at first cause the price was so insanely good for such a high end board, but I am now a member and love the site and deals. Bottom line, Sierra is awsome and the board handles like a dream.

Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Soft, Well known brand
Other Thoughts: I've riden plenty of Burton boards, even back to the ol' BMC model, and this is by far my favorite! I also have a 2008 Dominant and I'm pretty reluctant on riding it again because this board does it all. I'm only 5'7" and like 125 lbs, and this thing is stable on groomers going 40+ mph. And yes, I bring my GPS cuz my friends and I are adrenaline junkies. ;) It's snappy enough to pop up onto just about anything from rails to trail sides without even trying, and the edges hold like a rice-burner on a track.
This board will give any beginner confidence while still giving the advanced rider the time of their life. And at 50% off, you better buy it!!!

Cons: Too soft
Other Thoughts: great board!
2/25/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: This board is super fast. The Carbon I beam keeps this board really sturdy at hight speeds. It also has a lot of pop, so you could use it for freestyle if you want.
Cons: Really isn't anything bad about this board, except that you have to use burton bindings for the right connection to the board, but hey, they're burton bindings you have to use so they are AMAZING!!
Other Thoughts: Its a burton, and this board is the Cadillac of snowboards, good from pow to grommers to park. Get one and go shred HARDCORE!!
2/24/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: Nice all around board. It's been around forever and is always tweaked a little every year to make it better. Great all around board that can handle anything. This board can do park to groomers, jibs to back country. This board is a second but the flaw is so minor it goes unnoticed unless you look hard for it. Save some cash and buy a second.
Cons: Doesn't have Burton's EST system or ICS so just standard binding placement
Other Thoughts: Looks great feels great, buy the Burton Custom
