This board has been around forever and continues to evolve throughout the years to keep up with the latest riding trends and demands of modern riders. The most identifiable characteristic of the Custom is its ability to be ridden anywhere and by just about any confident rider. This board is a blast on groomed runs, through the trees, and in the terrain park. Some of Burton's top riders utilize it's freestyle friendly design when catching big air in comps and video shoots, while most people enjoy pushing their limits on steep groomed runs and on the more inviting park jumps. It is difficult to recommend this board to any one type of rider because it is great for many styles, but in general, the Custom is best suited for a strong intermediate or advanced rider with just an overall passion for snowboarding. *Base color will vary from board to board.

Experience:   This 2010 board is an AMAZING board. It has a slightly stiffer flex than last years model, but still maintains a soft and playful flex. The added flex leads to more pop on takeoff, and more stable landings. The radius to flat nose and tail will give you more float in the powder, allowing you to take your park board out for a pow day, while the radius to flat does not provide the same amount of float as a rocker board, it allows the board to stay in the camber category, which means it'll preform better all around the mountain, and keep more stable at high speeds. Just watch a video about it, and You'll see why the this is the board to own!

Experience:   my big bro got this board and i tried it out even though it was a little big i managed to get some sweet speed and some good carves, its easy to ride.

Experience:   Anyone can ride this board, it can make any rider from low-intermediate to advanced happy. Good for jibbing. Great all-around board.

Experience:   I just bought my 2010 custom ics 165w and i thought was going to have problems adjusting to the softer flex but i didnt... This board you can just get up and ride... it makes you feel like a pro out there no lies... i did park, black diamonds, even pipe... beautiful all around board

Experience:   This board is incredible. I had always rented and decided to buy this board (along with the Cartel ESTs). This board was a huge upgrade and really helped me improve my riding. Handles like a dream.

Experience:   I love my new 2010 Custom. This thing is for anything, Fast or Slow, Jumps or Groomers, On trail or off, Powder or Backcountry. This board is very nice. I would recommend it for anyone, open up the wallet and buy it with Burton C60 EST and Burton Hail. They go well together, very comfy esp if your an all purpose rider like me. Board looks really nice, the top sheet scratches easy, but after you ride it ones or twice your going to have scratches on it, if you want it to look nice dont ride it and put it up on your wall. Very colorful and I have gotten a lot of complements. All in all buy this board you wont be dissapointed and you will love the ride.

Experience:   The Custom has been a staple of snowboarding for quite some time and is argueably the best selling snowboard of all time. Whether you're a beginner getting ready to strap in for the first time or an advanced rider looking for a stick that'll take you anywhere, the Custom is right for you. I have ridden numerous Customs over the years and have enjoyed it everytime. The stability, edgehold and versatility of the Custom is exceptional. I would recommend the Custom to anyone looking for a board that they'll want to keep and ride for years. E

  • Cons:  A bit stiff for my taste but nothing major., Friends get jealous,

Experience:   Got this board as a gift, awesome board! I bought mine a little shorter and I can take it around the park with no problems at all. Its a mid stiff board so its perfect for stomping that jump and good for presses. If you are looking for an all around board this is it!
