Pros: I love the capstrap and the overall comfort of the binding. I bought these bindings to replace my Drake bindings and I can't even begin to tell you the difference I feel with these. Way more comfortable with better response. My feet no longer get achy, even after riding from 10-7.
Cons: These are pricey, but worth it. I was lucky to get these, near the end of the season, for half off.

Pros: Nice binding, but may not be the right binding for everyone.
Cons: The highback may feel different for some people depending on preference. I myself don't like alot of foward lean, meaning i like foward lean to be close to zero.
Other Thoughts: overall i didn't like the binding but again some of you might like it.

Burton's Legendary Binding

Pros: This bindings are argubly the most popular and highest selling bindings in Burtons line, and with good reason. They are light weight, highly responsive and versatile. Powerful enough to take to the park and stomp everything, and responsive enough in the deepest pow. What I love the most about the Cartels, is that the straps, though the toe cap is a bit flawed, are comfortable. The baseplate too is also cush for landings and what not. The adjustiblity is also great and fairly easy. Riding these for a year and half showed me why pros and 100 day shreders love this binding, it slays like very few bindings can
Cons: High back for some people will be a bit tall for them, I for one love it because it gives great response. For me personally though it's the toe cap, it took me a while to get it to my liking, but once I did all was golden.

Product Description

Sierra Says:
One of the most popular choices amongst amateurs and pros alike, the Burton Cartel is one of the industry's seminal bindings. Its extreme ramped-up natural forward lean is not for the weak of heart, but for the warriors who can stand the aching quads and extreme response, get ready for the ride of your life. With the addition of Burton's patented Living Hinge and DialFLAD systems, the Cartel is teched out and as ready as ever to dominate the entire mountain.

Burton Says:
The binding turned to by more Burton [and non-Burton] pros than any other enters the next chapter in freestyle mastery. Taking tech to new levels, the Cartel unveils the NEW canted Living Hinge Team Skyback II with DialFLAD. Sounds tech, huh? Benefits of this hi-back include less weight, more strength, increased adjustability, and better yet, a balance of power, comfort, and tweakability never before seen in snowboarding.
