Experience: Super simple lightweight windbreaker type jacket. 2 front pockets with zippers a plus. Contoured hood didn't fit over my helmet (duh?? contoured...) I was able to wear several layers underneath and peel them off during those hot spring boarding days. Would definately not pay the full price though... Thank god for Sierra's prices... but probably still not worth the discounted price. I guess you're paying for the Burton name.

Experience: The 2.5L Women's jacket from Burton definitely meets the minimum requirements as far as a snow jacket goes. It is however still waterproofed and breathable and is nice and lightweight so its perfect for the warm, spring days out on the mountain. I thought that it felt really un-restricted of movement and gave me the right amount of room inside to layer up if needed. It has a very simple design that will go with just about anything and is nicely form-fitting, not too baggy.
