Sierra says: The 686 Smarty Woodland jacket has a very rugged look as part of the Smarty line. It comes with fully taped seams, a custom pattern and a cardigan sweater Smarty liner. The sweater underneath can keep you extra toasty when youre on the mountain or it can even be worn out and about as casual wear. It comes in three cool looking tree prints or two earthy looking dual pinstripe styles. Its basically the look you want with the technology you need.

Experience: I wore my friends the other day. If it is even slightly warm, you cannot wear the liner. the shell itself is really warm. This jacket is really breathable and really waterproof you can wear it in any conditions. 686 makes jackets directly for the rider and every aspect of this jacket is made convenient for the rider. IMO, this is the best jacket of the season

Experience: My friend has this jacket and i've tried it but i feel that it lacks the proper bulk. It's too thin and if you're out in the cold you'll need extra layers underneath

Experience: Bought this jacket for my boyfriend. He loves it. the zip out sweater mean the didnt need to wear a fleece and if it got too warm he was going to zip it out. He was very happy with it and thought he looked fly LoL

Experience: This is a bad ass jacket. Plenty of pockets, a 2-button waist gaiter that actually works, very waterproof and very warm. It has pit vents and a nice ram-air chest vent that cools you off quick! The only gripe I have with it is with the liner. Not only is it pretty thin, but there is nothing to hold the sleeves of the liner to the jacket. Every time I take it off, the sleeves come out with my arms, so I don't even use the liner anymore. I got the stone trees color and love it. Very cool print, I'm the coolest looking tree on the mountain.

Experience: The sizing is perfect on this jacket its not too baggy like all other jackets this year. Your not going to want to wear this on warm days it does have a inner liner and its also insulated. Great for those colder days or when its snowing. I love the tree camo!!! The only thing I dont like is the removable liner is really thin (see threw) but you can take it out and zip in anything you want. I like the removable hood. Overall great jacket! Cant go wrong with 686.
