Sierra says: The Agent is designed to be an all-mountain freestyle board ready for anything you attempt. This board excels in the park coming equipped with impact plates and impact edges to decrease pressure and to prevent core damage when you buckle a landing or after countless jib/rails hits. It's moderately stiff longitudinal flex makes this board able to charge up to large kickers and clear them with ease. And the 30 degree angled fiberglass gives perfect torsional response and feel for the jib-to-jump rider. The Rome Agent is perfect for the rider who wants to enhance their park riding abilities.
Rome says: You can take the board out of the park, but you can?t take the park out of the board. The Agent is that run that every mountain has and every local knows- that run where you cruise from hip to roller to rope ollie to stump jib to gap to rock drop. It?s that run that you lap most days on the hill- or at least those days when there?s no pow. If you?re lucky, the run ends at the top of the park where you can spin off some machine groomed lips and hike the jib line a few times. That run is the Agent. 1/1 The design approach that we launched in last year?s Agent is back. Every Agent out of the factory has hand-painted elements so that each one is a unique creation and no two are exactly alike-every board is one of one. Terrain Uses

Other Thoughts: One of my best snowboard friends AA turned me on to this snowboard.
The Rome Agent is one of my favorite types of boards because it is soft enough to do butters, jibs and fun little tricks.
Unlike supper Jib Boards, the Agent has some snap and sturdiness for sizable jumps, going mach speeds at squaw and for me as i get fatter!

Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Soft
Other Thoughts: Awesome board! I switched over from the Burton Custom to experiment with new boards and I'm so glad I did!
This board is so light it's ridiculous! In combination with the Rome 390 bindings it felt like I was only wearing my boots while on the lift. The board is super poppy and much lighter than I expected (considerably lighter than my Burton Custom). The impact plates are awesome! On my Custom, my knees use to start feeling it after hitting about a dozen kickers but with this board I can go on all day with no problems at all! Buttering is also ridiculously easy on this board!
Bombing down groomers is a piece of cake as well. The base is super fast! Comparable to the Sintered Vision WFO Base on my Custom which is rumored to be one of the fastest snowboarding base in production. Although I have to admit that my Custom was a little more stable at higher speeds, this board can still handle it very well (this is probably due to the Custom being a slightly stiffer and heavier board). I have yet to test it on powder as I bought the board at the end of the season.
On top of everything, the graphics are sick! If you're an all mountain freestyle rider, I would definitely check this board out! Demo this board when you get the chance, you won't regret it!

Other Thoughts: Overall it is a really great board. Stable at high speeds and a very good all mountain board. It is however a park board and thats what its main purpose is. If your looking for a good all mountain board from a good company you can't go wrong with the agent.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: Great value, Soft, Well known brand
Other Thoughts: great board!!! its a little 2 soft for an allmoutain board in my opinion, but fantastic at being a park board which is ok on the moutain. fantasic pop & great for buttering, really good jib board aswel, impact plates work wel!!
like i sed, its 2 soft for for really fast runs, but will def hold up good for just some fun over all the mtn!!
def a must have board for allmoutain freestyle riders

Other Thoughts: this is my go to park board for sure, i love my agent.it is soft and buttery, yet it is easy to take out of the park.it has a very good edge hold for how soft it is, but im not goona try to break records with this board.it can take jupms and kickers very well, yet you can nose press it all day.just get one.

Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Soft
Other Thoughts: Smooth custom graphic design. Perfect for hitting just about anything, stays afloat in pow, slays every jib and hardly washes out on the biggest of kickers. Light and soft make it easy to press on your favorite park features. Combine this with Rome's 390s and you got a park slayer that can still bomb the mountain.

Other Thoughts: Want it bad! I rode one of these last week actually and it just has a great amount of pop. A ridiculously fun board. It is light weight too. I rode a 154 or something like that and i usually ride a 158. It held an edge just fine when i tore down at high speeds too. I love rome graphics so the looks did it for me too.

Other Thoughts: my home girl has this board and she loves it, coundn't ride it since her bindings were to small and i was lazy to change it, but she told me its a really nice board to hit the park and go all around the mt. she stated if your interested you should it

Pros: lightweight, Easy to carve, poppy, Great value, Popular on mountain, Soft, Well known brand
Cons: Too soft, Sluggish
Other Thoughts: The board rides really really really well. I went with a 156 instead of my usual 158-162 for all mtn or 152-154 for jibbing. The middle of the road I figured made the most sense. What I found was that this board does a lot of things really really well. The light core lets it spin like nobody's business while the impact plates really help with the landings. The carbon laminate and core profile creates some serious pop while also letting me rail down the hill. Buttering is ridiculously easy on this board, ridiculously easy.
Setting the board on edge is easy and the board is super stable at speed. I expected it to ride more like a door at speed, but it rode icy groomers like a champ!
My only quibble was as I spun it, my edges seemed to catch a lot easier than I would expect for a park board. Of course I did a really shitty job detuning them, so I attribute it mainly to that and the fact that the swing weight is really low so I was probably over spinning.
Overall it's definitely a park board that rides all mountain well (say 65% park, 45% mtn) but for the average soul, you would never know that it couldn't shine maching some GS turns.

Other Thoughts: Great board all in all, it's a little to narrow for my liking but it's really flexible and look awesome :) (it looks a lot better in real life then on these pictures)
This board is great to mess around with. You won't be dissapointed buying this!

Question
I am wondering whether the Rome Agent needs to be waxed regularly? -- Thanks mate.....so once the season is over or after every weekend of riding?
Best Answer
it has a sinterd base so its can be benifical to wax it every so often -- it really depends on you and your riding and what you like. some people go all seasoin with waxing, some wax every time. but for optimum proformance maybe every 3 or 4 times. Guest

I am wondering whether the Rome Agent needs to be waxed regularly? -- Thanks mate.....so once the season is over or after every weekend of riding? --- Do you think a Rome Agent is a good beginner/intermediate board? I am looking at improving my cruising and start some jibs this season.....I am looking for a board to take me to the intermediate level so I would expect it to last me a few seasons...
