K2 Lotta Luv w/Marker M1 11 Ti Womens Skis

The Lotta (like the unisex Recon) has been the best selling women’s on road/off road ski for some years now. This is a crowd pleaser for many reasons. Lotta is smooth, stable and quiet on the roughest snow imaginable. The K2 Mod dampening system makes this ski the "Cadillac" of the skis in this category. The LL is softer than some other women’s expert skis in this category and that makes it easy to initiate and flex the ski whether the ride is on smooth groomers or in softer, broken snow and mixed conditions. I would rate the grip as satisfactory for western skiers and the damp ride smoothes out any little chatter that might occur. While the LL is a little heavy, it is soft enough to be easy in moguls if not especially nimble. Every time I ski either the Lotta or the Recon, I am reminded of how versatile these two models are. The Lotta would be the definitive "cruiser" ski in the women’s 70/30 category.
