Dynastar Exclusive Powder Womens Skis

Despite the Moniker "Legend Powder" this is not a Powder specific ski but rather it is a 50/50 model. This is a truly polyvalent ski and despite rather minimal marketing, this ski has developed a solid following among good skiers. Some skis in this width range are really wide carvers meaning they are relatively stiff or heavy (or both) so they really shine on hard pack but they dont feel quick or nimble in the mixed conditions found off trail. The Exclusive Legend Powder offers a blend of grip, width, torsion and flex that allows it to be truly great at almost everything. I spent a day on this ski a couple of years ago and honestly found myself wishing that theyd make a mens ski just it (eventually they did, or almost anyway). The Legend Powder is light enough to be very nimble in Moguls and tight spots but it is just stiff enough to be a good crud buster without being too stiff for light powder. The Powder does favor softer snow a little bit over hard snow but it is still good enough for all but the hardest of eastern ice conditions. This is a great choice for a one ski quiver for the woman that does it all but favors the off trail a little bit over the on trail.
