Capita Staimaster Extreme Snowboard
Item # : SS43515 |
Year : 2009
Sierra says: Classic Stairmaster quality with upgraded features plus an original topsheet... It doesn't get much better. The base is faster, the topsheet is stronger, and the board performs freestyle tricks, rather than only jib/rail tricks, better than the regular Stairmaster. If you've been eyeing that Stairmaster, but still want just a little more, the Stairmaster Extreme should do the trick.
Capita says: The EXTREMES are limited in production and are primarily for a special customer looking for a unique product that not everyone else is going to have. They're geared toward a progressive jib and park shredder that doesn't want to break the bank, but is looking for more performance than the standard Stairmaster construction. They feature pre-preg glass, sintered bases, and a specially designed dampening system. This system is placed along the edge in between the inserts to enhance impact resistance on boxes and rails. The performance in relation to price tag of these boards is unmatched. Terrain Uses

Other Thoughts: This deck came about as a request from shop kids that ride 100 plus days a year. They loved the Stairmaster but needed an upgraded construction to handle all the days they were putting on the hill. The Extreme IS the Staimaster with better guts, glass, core and base. Throw in a 6'2" naked nurse from Texas jumping on a bed that had a couple glasses of wine in her before she signed the waiver papers so we could use the pictures and you get this years EXTREME. Also there is a 1.5mm extra layer of rubber between the edges and sidewall from insert pack to insert pack that provide metal on metal relief and adds needed durablitaty to masters of metal.
