Cons: Uncomfortable
Other Thoughts: Only lised uncomfortable, as like someone mentioned before me, I have made it a habit to loosen the strap when getting on the lift as it causes me to loose feeling in my foot sometimes. This may be because I ratchet them down pretty good at the top and am basically cutting off circulation. The bindings hold up really well to huge jumps and landings and have all the feel/control I need to get down the mountain and having fun doing it.

Other Thoughts: Won these from Sierra last year. Sick binding with great control. Super comfy with Burton's boots, and really locks you into the board to maximize control. Highly recommended.

Other Thoughts: If this is gonna be your first binding purchase, than its a good one. Ive had 2 pairs of these so far cause unfortunately the high back on my first pair snapped. Good thing the nice people over at burton were kind enough to fix it for me in no time. Definitely a good first pair of bindings.

Other Thoughts: One of the best bindings i've ever ridden, Most non-burton riders even love to ride the Cartels. Highbacks need to be adjusted for your comfort but beside thats no problems at all.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pros: Adjustability, Durable, Good construction quality, Well known brand, Popular model, Easy installation
Cons: Uncomfortable
Other Thoughts: First thing to know about the Cartel. The highback is no ordinary highback. They used to call them Skybacks for a reason. They _will_ dig into your calf muscle unless you adjust them properly.
These are pretty standard fare on the mountain. You know they work, and they work well. The pain chips off of the plastic pretty easily, but nothing more than cosmetic.
The strap on the Cartels also is pretty thin by industry standards. I've always felt secured to my board with them, but have made it a habit of loosening the ladders a few clicks before getting on the lift. Otherwise I loose feeling in my feet while sitting still.
