Other Thoughts: A top of the line jacket! The AK Summit jacket can pretty much do it all when it comes to protection and sophistication in a snow jacket. It comes with Gore-tex which is the best of the best in waterproofing and breathability and is still lightweight enough to allow you to layer up and keep really warm. Its super mobile and leaves you with no restrictions on movement and comfort. I love the feel of it since sometimes Gore-tex can be too rough and stiff, but it has a great fit and is long enough to keep out the snow even in the deep powder.
