The Burton Amp Pack not only carries your books and laptop, but it also features a remote on the shoulder strap that controls your iPod. A padded pocket holds that little white wonder, and Burton's SOFTswitch remote system gives you complete control of your playlists. The Amp works with up to Generation 4 iPods that have a Post Headphone Jack (which is the little slot next to the headphone port), but it's not compatible with new iPods (including Nano, Shuffle, and Video iPod). Slip your 15-inch laptop into the easy-access side-entry computer sleeve and throw a couple textbooks in the main compartment.

Nice

Pros: Comfy, nice ipod hookup, very padded

Cons: Expensive(at retail price that is)

Other Thoughts: My friend has this, and it is a pretty sick pack

Burton Pack

Pros: Bag looks great, it feels pretty well on the back, and I love how it can hold my laptop. Sierra had this backback going for 90% off with free shipping when I got it.

Cons: the Full Price is kind of steep, and it only works with newer ipods, which I hope to get soon.

Only worth getting as a gift or on discount

Pros: Semi-hard protection, plenty of space for books and notebook computer wires, clean design look

Cons: Expensive, notebook compartment lacks a way to keep your computer from shifting around, only iPod 1G to 4G compatible, adapter to work with newer iPods is expensive ($25-$30) and hard to find

Other Thoughts: I don't really use this for school or carrying my notebook computer. It's mainly my snowboard gear bag. Fits top and bottom thermals, t-shirt, pants, socks, gloves, beanie, mask, and lock just perfectly.
